Awww.    Iron Bull was my #1 hope so I partied with the rest, but yea - it seems with fewer slots people became more vicious towards the candidates they didn't want.  Now all of a sudden Solas is ugly, or too old, etc etc, way more personal attacks than you saw when the LI slots were still open.  -No need to bash a character or the fans just because you'd prefer something else, ya know?-

 

I should be surprised they're doing that but I'm not, that's what fans do right? I don't get it. Even if Solas isn't an LI I wouldn't cr*p on other fans happiness, that's just childish. It's like spitting the dummy (pacifier) out and crying about it.

This wait is even more tedious since every other LI has basically been announced, anyone else agree?  I found it more bearable when everyone had a big 'ol question mark above their heads.  I always troll the forums while at work and they've been going...so...slowly.

I agree. In the beginning, everyone was in the same position and it was fun to speculate... now most people can begin planning their quizzys and celebrate while the Solas, Varric, Vivienne and Blackwall fans are just... left to wait :/

Well, I'm sure Solas has got fans all over the world already .   (I'm from Poland and as I've seen, I'm not the only one there).

The wait for some new info is killing us all I'm sure, I, for one, am watching DA:I trailers over and over again.

I love the last scene in this one:

Why? All of the companions were finally shown, but there is something else:  Solas- he looks at the Inquisitor with so much respect and ...dedication.
There's something about him that really makes me want to know him better. We could use some quote other than "It's more complicated than that" (although it's says a lot about him).
 

I have also a feeling that his role as a companion will be greater than others' because of his knowledge of fade (I could be wrong though).

I mean, the fandom as a whole HAS been pretty good with the predictions so far (the Sera thing threw people, but they were right about Dorian being gay, The Bull being bi, even Josephine (then Scribbles) was largely speculated to be an LI even with no information.
