Don't worry, I was not heated up. I am confronted with worse stuff at work to actually get annoyed here.

And some things are not explained with reason, they just are. Like "Why do you love your husband". You can find reasons, but in the end it's a matter of the heart.

 

I've played on computers. But I prefer console. Does not make me a less dediated player (some people would be glad if that were true). I simply enjoy it more than playing on a computer, which I still do because a lot of games are PC only. Some I have for PC and console. I know console gaming has disadvantages (no modding tc.) But whatever reasons I would give you, the only really important one is: I like the feeling of using a controler and having the big screen.

If I were a sh*tty pc master race snob, I would argue that you could connect your wireless controller with an gamepad adapter and connect your tv's hdmi cord to a pc. *tips pink fedora*

I actually tried that first. (Wasn't good, somehow weird. I don't know. Back to mouse and keyboard.)

I did not actually buy the console for me. Well, I did not even buy it at all.

My boyfriend wanted Halo and for reasons unknown he bought an Xbox. And I thought, fine, if it's there I might as well try. And before I even noticed I stood on my sofa, the controler in hand, and screamed at the screen "You think I can't see you only because you hide behind a bloody tree? I AM BATMAN DAMNIT!!"

Yeah, well... downhill from there.

I hope you can understand why people are getting offended. You are over-generalizing. I am a pc-gamer. I am young. I build my own pc. That doesn't mean it's superior to consoles. They have different pros and cons.

I just explained and you get hung up one one sentence and most likely misinterpret it.

I said real games not real gaming, As I think you're getting it as/to 

I meant that for games like DAI, the Witcher, ME and such I prefer to play PC. I didn't say that it was the only way to play the games or anything of the like. 

Simply that I ( as in me not you or any one else) prefer it that way. 

And for your information I didn't build it. 'm not that technical. Fortunatly I know people that are.

Actually I thought the console vs. PC convo had been dropped. No one was insulting anyone over their choice. I mean, personally I love my PC. I can play anything on ultimate/super high settings and have zero issues. Two 28" monitors let's me to do multiple things at once, including playing multiple games at the same time. I my PC. That said, people who like consoles, more power to you. Honestly I think consoles saved gaming. So I have nothing against people who love them.

Anyway, I find Solas strangely attractive. Yeah his facial proportions are unusual and he's not classically handsome - definitely not Dorian pretty. But still, I do find him strangely attractive. Also, I like the way Cassandra looks very much. If I made a male character I would have to romance her.

I also find Solas unconventionally attractive. But then again, he reminds me of the guy I had the relationship with... the relationship which made the Lavellan/Solas break up difficult for me to process. They have a couple of key similarities that probably contributed to my affinity for Solas. Even so, his personality and--more than that--his sheer intelligence are what contribute most to his attractiveness for me, as well as, of course, dat voice.

Because they're competing for the same games or different exclusives. Surprisingly in the pc master race community, DS is ery well loved because it isn't viewed as a competition but cater to a different audience. which is mobile.

I'm just a quiet observer but i think the younger ones switched from xbox360 and ps3 due to it spent the longest time between console generation. Because of that, the consoles began to really lag behind in specs, almost 10 years before before new gen. For now the ps4 and xbox one are on par with pc for now. Due to more frequent sales for pc, what we don't spend on individual games, you spend it on ensuring your pc parts are up-to-date.

Thank you for explaining it to me. I genuinely have never understood why people get so worked up over such things. Seems to me we all might be a little happier if people would just realize that their personal preferance does not and should not account for the preferences of the people around them, but that is neither here nor there.

I was not but I really went into the game as blind as I possibly could and make my decisions organically. If there was no romance gate I would have romanced solas on my first playthrough. No question.

Same.  On my first PT, I romanced Cullen, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but Solas piqued my interest in the process.  Oh, this is happening, I thought.  You just wait. After the Temple of Mythal quest on my first PT, I stopped short of beating the game, and rolled a female elf, starting again while still completely oblivious to the fact that Solas was Fen'Harel.  Everything was going dandy until THAT scene, and then I was like WTF SOLAS COME BACK.  I hurried through the last battle b/c I was SO SURE he would come to his senses, and THAT'S when I finally saw the reveal and realized he was the Dread Wolf.  Then I came here, crawled into the blanket fort, and haven't left since.
