Solas says something really interesting in that rant if you drink the well. "Something had to start the legends" or something along those lines. I find that really interesting because in some ways that is the inquisitor's story in a nutshell. You are the herald of andraste whether you like it or not. It doesn't matter what the truth is or how often you deny it, the people believe you are divinely touched (figuratively speaking ). Sure, you're a badass and all-around important person but you aren't a god. Or are you?

In 5000 years maybe Lavellan becomes part of the dalish pantheon. Maybe Cadash is made a paragon. Maybe Trevelyan is remembered alongside andraste.

Unfortunately I think regardless of race the Inquisitor will be counted as an Andrastian prophet who brought change to the world in the Maker's name.

Yeah, I'm doing one today, I'll still do one tomorrow but tomorrow I'll probably draw a little bit then do my 3d assignment and other homework. Don't make funny of me though. But for today, this is specifically all about the art appreciations.

They'll start off referring to her as an elf, but then someone will get mad at the elves for something and they'll re-do all the art so her ears are docked like they did to Shartain in Orlais.

Wonder how they'd re-do Qunquisitor art though >.>

Or get written out like how Shartan was written out of the Canticles of Light, then get the credit placed with one or a few of the humans in your party. If history doesn't remember Cassandra as the Herald of Andraste (if the Inquisitor was a non-human), I'll be deeply surprised.

(As it is, if you ask Cassandra how she got to be the Divine's Right Hand, she says she was credited with saving the previous Divine's life and got promoted to Right Hand as a reward. If you ask her to explain the story, she'll reveal that she and several others discovered a plot against the Divine's life, and several mages freed a dragon controlled by the would-be killer, which allowed Cassandra to finish the fight with combat. She's now credited as the sole hero of the story, while the mages involved have been completely forgotten.)

LOL, I think everyone pretty much disapproves... maybe they think it is just way too powerful for you.

I really wanted to fight that monster at the end. I mean, our only major bosses in this game are dragons and dragons (Corypheus doesn't count). I wanted more variety.

So... can I get your opinions on where the Forgotten Ones stood in the times of Arlathan? There seems to be a consensus that the Creators generally ruled things, so where do Amaris and Co. come in? Are they equals in a separate kingdom? Are they a subversive group? Are they even elves at all?

I have a pet theory that Fen'harel acted as a go-between for the pantheon and a rebel group of "gods". Then both sides start destroying Arlathan, Mythal gets murdered, and Fen'harel throws an epic bitchfit and locks both groups away. Then he takes a nap.

I think the Dalish worship of Fen'harel must be very complicated. They probably resent him for locking away their other gods. They most certainly fear his power. I wonder if they're grateful he sealed the forgotten ones away (they don't sound very pleasant according to dalish myth)? I also wonder if they have prayers to him, as conceivably he's the only god left free to ACT on their prayers (and thus bring about any kind of result).
