Solas says something really interesting in that rant if you drink the well. "Something had to start the legends" or something along those lines. I find that really interesting because in some ways that is the inquisitor's story in a nutshell. You are the herald of andraste whether you like it or not. It doesn't matter what the truth is or how often you deny it, the people believe you are divinely touched (figuratively speaking
). Sure, you're a badass and all-around important person but you aren't a god. Or are you?
In 5000 years maybe Lavellan becomes part of the dalish pantheon. Maybe Cadash is made a paragon. Maybe Trevelyan is remembered alongside andraste.
Unfortunately I think regardless of race the Inquisitor will be counted as an Andrastian prophet who brought change to the world in the Maker's name.
