I so enjoy all the crazy in this thread, even though I'm usually just lurking.
I am feeling a bit more positive about Solas' chances for being a LI now, I really like Carpools ideas on tumbler post.
I know that its been discussed that how many romances each writer wrote is not very relevant, but I do kind of think it would be a bit surprising if the final two were written by the same person... If I'm right about that then we're only getting either Varric or Vivienne, and in that scenario my money would be on Vivienne.
So, in this scenario it is between Blackwall and Solas, and although it would appear that Solas is generally more popular than Blackwall, that can't be taken to support that he is a romance, but Solas would seem to provide a better contrast from the others than Blackwall would, and I don't think that is something that would have escaped their notice.
One thing does seem clear - Solas is important, I think carpool is right on the money pointing out that images don't appear on front covers without thought. I think it is very likely that the outlooks of both Solas and Vivienne will represent two different approaches that can be followed in the game. If this is the case I will be very glad to have a male elven character who is more essential. I love Zevran and Fenris, but do with they had been more integral to the main plot.

Wow! So many East Coasters, but no one near me. I do like the idea of doing a mini-con though! Looks like if we do we should set it in the southernish states so as to inconvenience less folk. (If I am recalling correctly there are less of us in the north? Or is it more an even split?)
If it's an even split we could hit Maryland? There's a nice campground called Elkneck, lots of pretty views and hiking trails and such.
@Karm, I think Virginia is considered South. (Though it's in the Northern part of the South and certainly is not considered what Americans call the Deep South.)

Too biased haha. I keep waking up and thinking "maybe today..."
They seem to be noticing the tension in the fandom as we wait for LIs, so I hope it's not too long before then.

I'm exactly the same! During waiting periods like this I have a tendency to glue myself to the forum and refresh the Solas page obsessively for news of an evening, and it's...probably not the healthiest or most productive use of my time Allan's tweet made me hopeful we'd get something this week, but then again...maybe not. I literally do not know what the think or expect anymore, lmao

The weird thing is it takes about three days of sunny weather and I'm totally used to it, it feels right, like it is how it should be... Then it's rains and I'm strangely shocked and all wtf is this??? ... after 42 years...I'm a slow learner
