On the subject of Bianca - My biggest issue with her was the fact that I thought she was dead. I'm going to need to reread that Sacred Grove comic business again I think, because I have no idea what about the scene in the Fade with Varric/Bianca made me walk away thinking she wasn't around anymore.

Plus she wasn't how I imagined her after the comic which was a bit disappointing.

 

Oh and Carver? I love Carver. I am that younger sibling who will never amount to what my elder has. So yeah, I can appreciate him and his grumpiness even if he and my Hawke were always batting heads. I have a Templar Carver and a Grey Warden Carver in my two canon world states.

Bethany never makes it outside of Lothering.

I hate her. For no good rational reason either. I just, really really despise her.

This morning we had to put down our dog, she wasn't eating anymore, she barely moved. I stayed with her the whole time, with a hand on her forehead. She fell asleep and I hope she didn't feel anything. The vet said she had a strong heart. She could have gone on living for some years without her illnes.

She endured for some time before she stopped breathing... it's like she wanted to stay. I feel like I have betrayed her... even if I tell myself that there was nothing we could do. She probably was in pain, so it would have been selfish to wait... still. I need to get my mind off this.

Hi. A bit off topic, but Eham released an unofficial bugfix patch that fixes a couple of Mosaic pieces so you should be able to acquire them properly. Specifically the Wolf Hollow piece in the Hinterlands, and one in the Western Approach that was apparently set with the same id as another piece.

<edit> If anyone has trouble with the mod manager, or doesn't want to risk messing up the patch process, I'd be happy to make a merged patch file with either just the official patch or with other mods mixed in.

As for not-sad songs. Here's a great cover of Enchanters (my favourite tavern song).

 

I was listening to a lot of The Pretenders earlier and this has always been an amazing falling in love song. I found it perfect for my Lavellan post-Fade Kiss.

 

 

And, cheesy as it is, this is a great song for my Lavellan asking Solas to trust her (at some later date if he's struggling with whether to tell her his secret).

 

 

I can't speak for Solas, but if I were him, I would be upset that Lav chose to learn rift magic from that spacey weirdo lady instead of asking me to teach her. That's actually one of the reasons my Lav didn't choose rift magic. She thought it would kind of be offensive to Solas, learning Solas's specialty from someone else. I mean he would have been willing to teach her blood magic had he known anything about it, how much more willing would he have been to teach her his own magic had she only asked? Too bad we can't just ask our companions for training like in the old days. Lavellan would have much rather learned it from someone she loved rather than someone she deemed crazy right out of the gate.

Actually, he really likes it if you choose to pursue rift magic. He has this adorable nerd moment where he talks about how it's very similar to the magic that he does, except that you're learning it a whole lot faster than he did, using the anchor as a catalyst. Then he asks you why you chose "such an esoteric area of study", and is very pleased if you say it's to expand your own knowledge. Though I wish I'd been given the opportunity to say that I chose it because of him. I have a feeling that would've flustered him a bit. 

 

You also get a special dialogue option during his personal quest if you're a rift mage.

 

EDIT: Ah, I see someone posted the video. When I got that scene and picked that dialogue option I got "approves" instead. Seems to be a bug.

Speaking of Sera.. I just finished the Temple of Mythal and went to speak with everyone back at Skyhold (I'm delaying speaking to Mr. Egg as long as I can xD) and I went to speak to Sera and she was all weird saying how all that happened is BS and such and pointing an arrow at me etc. I never saw this before cause this is the first time I drink from the well

Anyway.. Does anyone know if anything in particular happens if I decide to take her to the Altar of Mythal with me? Will she change her mind at least a bit or have some doubts? (I don't think so but decided to ask in case it is worth to take her..). If not who do you think I should take? Do they even say anything? XD

If you take Sera along and plan to do the rituals and ally with the elves..she will disapprove a lot.
Generally she would be scoffing at the ancient elves (calling them "dusty butt")
There is also one instant where the guide is leading you and she takes a jibe at the elvish language
in nutshell she was going "lalala not listening" when I took her along. It is overwhelming for her.

Ah Drake! Sorry to hear about your dog, that's horrible. It's really is like losing a member of the family. I was heartbroken when my dog died, she'd climbed up onto my bed during the night and died in her sleep. I'm just glad that she maybe got a little comfort from being near me at the end. :-( Here's some solace with Solas.

Solas' dialouge is bugged and wont trigger if you've romanced him.  It's fine as long as you haven't kissed in the Fade.

Both.  I like the nod to duality; it reminds me a bit of the Lady of the Forest/Witherfang.  Though if I had to pick one, white Dread Wolf seems less world-destroying.
