Just makin my contributions to the dread wolf, lol. Love my trickster gods.
Even if it's technically rebellion. Rebellions often start by tricks and they're remembered through lies, so it works.

Oh I love a good rebellion, but the less world shattering the better ![]()

As long as Orlesians cry, I'm happy.
And to Iron Bull around Solas, lol that's like the Kurgan around a priest, or a prostitute in church. They're so different that seeing Solas exposed to such... deviousness makes Bull even more hilarious.
Musing possible other art things while I am neglecting my actual job- do people prefer black or white dread wolf?
I have a question!
Here! I think Solas deserves more kisses for his long torn heart.
If you want to read it you find it a few pages back, as pointed out already. In short:
The essence of it was that the Solas romance was added late by Gaider himself in an attempt to avoid branding Solas a clear villain. He feared Solas might come off rather ruthless and cold and in order to humanise him, the romance was added to show more facets of his character. Gaider only said like two sentences himself, as far as I remember.
You mean Weekes?
And according to Mike Lailaw it basically went down like this: "Patrick said to me 'what if Solas was a romance also I wrote it this weekend'". Thank goodness for Patrick Weekes. ![]()
I read them recently (after DA:I). I didn't get the impression she was dead. Just that their 'ending' didn't happen that way. That they didn't run away together, she want home and got married instead.
If ever a relationship in Dragon Age actually was toxic, it'd be those two. Forget Bull and Dorian. I wish I'd had the opportunity to tell Bianca exactly what I think about her stringing Varric along. Though, I'd prefer Hawke do it.
I went to edit my post to add exactly what I think about Bianca but I should probably refrain from such in this thread. lol.

I remember it was when he corrected Morrigan. She said he banished her and Abelas said he didn't do anything of the sort.
Download DAI's Tavern Songs free of charge, they posted this on facebook! It's only for a limited time... grab it.

I like both, but white is on the romanced card, so I'll say white
Thanks for the heads up!
Thanks for posting my art! I did this during the Solas Draw Chat on Saturday. People who love art should try to check out the next chat this weekend if you can.
:-) It's beautiful. You did an awesome job. I love the coloring and shading.
I believe so. If you finish the Last Court you will get a war table mission and the reward is the glass.
Is the glass connected to the War Table mission? I've never actually completed the chain (just the first one) and I have the glass when I get to Skyhold.

You did this in a day?

My kind of people, lol. Very impressive.
Downloaded the songs, but the titles are not 100% correct I think, plus there is a spelling mistake ![]()
06: Nightingale's Eyes, not NightEngale
08: I believe it's called "Sera was never", not just "Sera".. at least it is in the game xD
10: Samson's Tale, not Samson
Tut tut Bioware ![]()
Nothing major.. i just like things to be perfect xD
Not sure if it has been posted before (I have no way to read all the previous pages xD)
But someone on fb just posted this and I thought I'd share it xD

Have I mentioned what a masterful writer I think this man is? Oh, I have? Well, let me just say it again. He did an amazing job with Solas. He knew that, without certain effort, Solas would come across as villainous and he took steps to... either avoid it or... mask it depending on your interpretation by giving him all these humanizing moments so you wouldn't get to the end and think "what an asshat. I was just a pawn in his chess game." And... I think he accomplished exactly what he set out to do, if the number of people in here who are actively creating fanart and stories and just generally showing a lot of love for Solas are any indication. To me, Solas didn't come across as a villain at all... tragic hero, maybe. Definitely tortured by something within himself, but villain, no. That's why I would be surprised if he did start being all sinister and stuff. I mean don't get me wrong, depending on what his long game is, I can definitely see him as someone we may have to stand off against in the future, but he does not strike me as someone who can't be reasoned with, in the way Coryflakes was, or even Logain, for that matter. Granted, Solas's idea of reasonable is probably astoundingly different from what we would consider reasonable, but still, I think he would at least listen. And then, just to add to that, from the perspective of another writer, I just find PW... kind of genius. Of course, this is not the first time he has impressed me... it's just the MOST he has impressed me. It's like he keeps trying to outdo himself. Bless this man. More writers should aspire to this calibre of character development.
I've loved all of the DA games. However, Solas and how Weekes wrote him has definitely hooked me far deeper than if he had not done what he did with this character. I've now purchased & read all of DA material because of how awesome his writing was. Count me in as a Weekes fan!

Hmmm. Maybe not. Idk I played The Last Court before i played DAI so I just assumed i had it in result of TLC. I think it's only a single war table mission. Kind of like "Oh you played the card game. Well. This is what happens" type of thing.
This isn't directly related to solas but i just found this skyrim mod.
And I know this is the sh*t you ladies want.
Umm have you tried it?
Where is the 3rd patch for the consoles!!! I'm dying to play through my current and cannon run, but can't help touching elven artifacts....
Yeah same here.
