Apparently it's a bug. We weren't meant to see the figure of Mythal so clearly. Shame, people in this thread were crafting some amazing theories out of it.
That doesn't really change things though since she's still there right?

Alright, So I playing the mission "what pride has wrought" again and something came to my mind that is probably wrong:
Spoiler
Here is a fan theory about it. http://youtu.be/YTNAAF6fRf0?t=2m11s
So I never did the time travel quest thing with Dorian, but can someone tell me why they just didn't go back in time and stop Corypheus beforehand.
They can't travel past the time of the rift. The breach is what powers the spells.

Time Travel can only go back as far as the Breach (Alexius was trying to go back before so he could stop Inky from ruining Cornflakes' plan). It also has the very negative side effect of basically punching a hole in time and space. It's not stable and it's not safe.

For all we know time magic can only be used under certain circumstances. Not to mention that, not only do they not know who gave Corypheus the orb, but they don't know when he got the orb.

Yes, she is. But it was just meant to be an etheral figure. There's no deeper meaning to her having a human model. The devs probably used it because it was bigger than the elven one and so looked more imposing.

Because the Breach is what is allowing time magic to be possible at all. You can't travel back in time to a point before its existence. If you side with the Templars Cornflakes has Alexius killed for failing him, because he can't go back and stop the Inquisitor from being at the Conclave.
edit: I type too slowly apparently!

That makes alot more sense. Knew there had to be some sort of catch. ![]()

It's up in the air whether they did just put out a plain model with human ears just to have a vaguely feminine figure seen through mist, it's meant to have been a younger Flemeth who drank from the Well after merging with Mythal, or they're hinting at some crazy conspiracy theory like some of the Pantheon having been human. *shrug* It just seems odd to me that they would go with a human shape there. And the shape seems to be referred to as naked.wet.flemeth in the files. ![]()
I suspect the 'We thought the special effects would cover it up better' was more of a 'Oh, crap, you saw that?' But I'm admittedly rooting for some tinfoil hat theories. ![]()

Oh that's what you meant. I didn't even pay attention to that because it was an apparition.

Honestly I'd just explain it away as she merged with a human and is currently one, so the spirit is humanesque. I still don't think the gods are any respect of the races here, and that whatever shape they take is mostly inconsequential. Must be if old gods can be aligned with humans and just appear as dragons all the time. They just adopted all things elven because elves were the only things around before, and there wasn't any reason to adopt a younger race's culture when they've already got their whole identity seeped in elven stuff.
In other words, they may as well be "elven" but they're not really. Race would mean little to shapeshifting higher beings.
Guys I heard Solas get jealous when inquisitor flirting around with everyone and has special conversation. Is it true? If so, how can I trigger one?
I wonder if that last scene happened before Mythal had been with Kieran. As in, When Mythal spoke to the dread wolf she looked like she was pushing something into the eluvian, which could be part of her soul, so when Solas left, her soul crawled back to Flemeth's body releasing her from the petrification and going to find Kieran to fill up what's left of her power with the old god. She seemed to be travelling through eluvians like a boss and all the time, so maybe what Solas took was half of the power so she can have space for the old god (hmm this sounds dumb as ****, but I need to say it ._.) or maybe a dummy, again, not thinking straight and making Mythal even stronger for the reckoning.

But is there something that tells you if it was after defeating coryfish?

His orb is broken, after you defeat Cory
I don't even know how the eff anyone can bring themselves to do that... It actually hurts, real physical pain!
I think there's a Three Days Grace song that can explain it.
PERFECT.
Hi guys, recently finished DA:I and when ME3 finished I spent a great few months on the Garrus thread in the Character/Romance forums on the old Bioware Social threads before they got locked, and I fully intend to do the same here. *gets comfortable*
Firstly, congratulations on over 2500 pages! That's a lot of fandom! I'm really pleased to see it. ![]()
When I first started playing DA:I I didn't really like Solas, he seemed a bit up his own backside for my liking, but when I saw the first Romance option and took it, I was like, "Damn, Solas, you smooth! Let's see where this goes," and he really grew on me. He's rivalling Garrus in a lot of ways for my favourite companion now! Although, King Cole the Dragon Slayer is really close too.
Now, sadly I managed to lose my save right before starting the Orleasian Ball, but I watched my partner play through the rest (he's not a fan of Solas, sadly), and devoured the Wiki entry on Solas, so I know what to expect from my Lavellan's relationship, but I do have a few questions both plot and romance related:
Sorry for the firing a mass of bullet points there, and I'm really sorry if this has already been discussed/answered, but 2500 pages is a lot to go through and I think I've asked questions the FAQ doesn't quite cover. If I haven't though, please feel free to redirect me to the FAQ. ![]()
Looking forward to spending time with you all! ^^
Text edit for spelling. Also, damn; I start writing this and the board gains 4 new pages. Faaaast!
