And I could never get into Carth. He just didn't do it for me. In fact, the whole first game didn't really capture my imagination in the same way that the second one did. I just loved how KOTOR 2 subverted the entire Star Wars mythos, while at the same time telling a truly heartwrenching story about the consequences of war. It took the backstory that the first game didn't even really touch on (two enormous and costly wars in quick succession) and turned it into something amazing.

I can completely understand why the Dalish are doing what they're doing. I just wish they'd luck out and get their own Andraste figure to get their act together without being exterminated by the Chantry. A tall order, admittedly. But I'd like them to get the chance to evolve.

BWHAHAHAH. Yeah, this has mostly been me trying to find a legitimate way to back up a headcanon that hit me today that my Lavellan hunter might be illiterate. It certainly would explain why Josie, Cullen, and Leliana require so many meetings with her, why they explain/ summarize the situation rather than having Lavellan read the reports herself, her dependency upon the council, and yet another reason she seeks out Solas' company. He's a wealth of knowledge she's never had the opportunity to unlock.
There's just no heartbreaking scene in the game where instead of telling her about his journeys or what he's learned from the "ancient memories of the Fade," Solas is busy painting, and asks Lavellan to read out loud for him while he works. A heavy, thick moment of silence follows. He's busy at the wall with his back to her, wondering why she hasn't begun yet, and his eyes narrow in confusion as the silence continues. He'd turn to see her face ashen and her ears burning with heat. She claims she's hit with a sudden headache and asks to leaves the rotunda, which he allows and tells her to get some rest. Solas doesn't think much of it until about 30 seconds later. A sickening pit would fall in his stomach as the truth dawns on him that he had just unknowingly revealed her shame she had hidden so well for so long.
10/10 would head canon again.
Omg. I would take it because it makes me cry. And I love everything that makes me cry. I would say my girl could read...ok. She practically forced the Keeper's first to teach her. They were about the same age. He harbored a bit of a crush on her so he was more than happy to oblige. She couldn't read well but once she got to Skyhold she started to just devour books. I need it to make sense that she knows how to mix new poisons and make new bombs. Once she started understanding why certain chemicals did certain things, she went BANANAS with the testing. Her and Sera were a problem for a while.

Same..I just never got into KOTOR 2. I loved Carth...and I think I fell in love with Kaidan in ME because of Carth.. Same voice actor.
I'm half expecting an Orlesian Revolution. More of the human lower class than the elves (the whole thing with Briala fell apart due to her relationship with Celene). If Sera actually did cause a pesant uprising that worked, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to picture a Robespierre-esque reign of terror.
God, I hope so. I felt bad for those people scrabbling out a living in the Emerald Graves and The Exalted Plains. I would support a peasant revolt in Orlais. That Empire needs to crumble - Revolution style. I would throw the weight of the Inquisition behind that thing.

I've been wanting to get my hands on some tarot cards, but I have no idea where to get them T_T Are they for sale on the Bioware site? Or do you have to get them somewhere else?

It trends like this that have entered gaming in the last generation that make me question gaming and if its really worth it. Mostly all gaming is getting to be is a carrot on a stick in front of people. Level up and get that xp. Open 4,543 boxes so you can get that item with a .56 % chance to drop!!!

You might have to find someone willing to part with it that has the Collectors Edition. I don't believe those are for sale separately. But if you're curious - it has every character card/version and then a lot of the codex ones. It's a full tarot deck.
