I saw that, but that's pretty thin as easter eggs go, isn't it? I don't know anything about Halo though. Gordias the peasant who was declared king by just showing up seems a better fit for where the name comes from.

Not Halo, Half-Life I've seen similar easter eggs like that before that were thin enough that they had to be confirmed later. Small stuff devs just put in for inside snickering, that they wouldn't expect people to find. If it's real or not, not sure but it's lulzy anyway.

Probably already answered, but its meeting Mythal in the fade with Kieran -> Fight with Cory -> Solas leaving and meeting up with Mythal. 

But as I said before, I'm pretty sure Flemeth/Mythal isn't dead. 

 

 

Shouldn't it be 'saving' the world?

That is after all what they are trying to do. 

 

 

Welcome to the thread and congratulation on finishing the game. 

People already answered all the questions but I'll still give you my answers

• Solas seem to be the actual Fen'Harel, and neither some kind of reincarnation or possesser/body-charer like Mythal.
• They seem to have a long past. There has been lots of lively discussions on what their relations really is/was. Family, maybe, possibly lovers or some kind of servent or mentorship(?) 
• It's confirmed by the dev notes that Flemeth gives her power to the dread wolf, beacuse she know that if she doesn't he'll likely (try to) kill her for it anyhow.
• No there's no known exact time, as far as I know at least. But its indicated that he woke up not that long ago. It's been ten years since Hawke killed Cory, it possible he woke up around the same time.
• Nobody knows (but the devs) but their are plenty of speculations around it. Some say Solas gave it to Cory in hope that he'd unlock it and die in the process od doing so. If he knew what would happen at the conclave/the explosion killing so many is a wildly debated topic. I'm not sure what to believe myself. It's hard on the heart to picture him being so casual for other people's lifes but at the same time I think he'd do anything so succed with his mission.
• Once again a heatedly dscused topic. For my own thoughts; I think it did belong to him and the power in it and that the IQ possess some of that power. Solas reaction to that likely depends on what type of person the IQ is, if he respect it or not, but in the beginning it must bother him a great deal to see him/her use it.
• You can get Sera to crack the joke if you ask her about her thoughts about Solas after your relathionship is known (after the 2:d scen, the balcony) Solas uses the term side befits at two occasions. The first being when you flirt with him for the first time the second being the hearticon option before the breakup scene If I remember corectly.
• During banter and if you ask them about him. Both Cass and Cole makes their 'vallaslin' and 'turned away' banter after the break up, depending if you removed the tattoos or not.
• The card changes after the romance has been locked in.
• It depends on you and on your Lavellan. If you want the most sentimental dialouge then you go with sad breakup and never get angry with him. But if you want more of a reaction you should get upset. My advice is to try both and chose the reaction you like best. Sad breakup gets the "we were real" line and angry "you had the right to be angry". It depends on what you prefer.

 

You can do exactly that if you get angry when he breaks up with you.

You don't get any "You have a rare and wonderful sprit. In another world.." talk but you get the chance to push him by the chest.

I too could see the wolves of the emerald knights being more "symbolic" than literal wolves, ie. Slaves, servants, bodyguards? I'm not 100% on that theory but it would work, and makes sense considering all we know about Fen'harel maybe not being so trixy after all.

Solas would hate that.

I don't see why it can't be literal wolves or even spirit wolves. My Dalish ranger in Origins always had a summoned wolf with her. I even stopped leveling up the skill because I didn't want the stronger animals- not as cute as the little wolf. Little did I know she was being historical, lol. Anyway, if Fereldans have mabari and if halla and griffons are basically sentient and choose to be companions of their riders, then I don't see why Thedosian elfy wolves couldn't do the same.

BTW I love that in the Emerald Graves, all the IQ camps are guarded by wolf statues.

By the time Aithne has finished all the camps have wolf statues not just the Emerald Graves ones. She was apprenticed to the clan woodcarver before her magic manifested so she makes carved wooded icons for each camp to make them feel more like the Dalish ones.

Well... the inquisitor loses out in that comparison. And Brain's plans never actually work out. Not sure what to think of that suggestion. Not sure I want to make up my mind either.

Buuut now that you brought it up, this is how Dragon Age will go on:

 

Pinky (inquisitor) is feebleminded enough to follow Brain (Solas) and thanks to reasons unknown actually finds him eventually. Brain will expose his mind-blowing, overtly complex plan to Pinky: bring down the veil, which will lead to demons pouring out of the Fade. (The year is 9:45 Dragon. All of Thedas is occupied by pride demons. All? Not quite! A thaig inhabitated by indomitable dwarves is holding out, strong as ever, against the invader. Life is not easy for the demon legionaries stationed in the fortified camps of Aquarium, Delirium, Nohappimedium and Opprobrium...) This will force the Dalish to unite with the other races against the common threat. However, this forced exchange will also open up access to knowledge long lost to the Dalish: ancient scrolls hidden in Fereldan Chantry cellars, legends passed on from dwarf to dwarf for generations, and old manuscripts found on countless Tevinter slaves freed by Qunari forces. In an astonishing cooperative effort, the Dalish are able to reconstruct large parts of their own history, enabling them to return to the ways of old and rebuild their lost civilisation. At this point Brain will step out of the shadows and unleash the massive power of his orb, fuelled by the rescued souls of old gods, to rebuild the veil. The only thing Pinky has to do is hand him the orb once the time has come. 

Unfortunately, Pinky is too distracted admiring Brain's ass as she walks behind him. She does not see the large stone in front of her, stumbles, falls, and the orb.....

The rest will be history (for the demons, that is, because all others will be wiped off the face of Thedas; bad luck).

I suggest the following player choices:

• Follow Brain? Yes. / Of course! / Is that a serious question?
• Agree with Brains plan? Yes. / Of course! / I'm not sure... ah, alright. / Whatever you say, honey.
• How does Pinky get through the Brecillian Forrest? Stare at Brain's ass / Drool / Get dizzy / "I love following you. Saving the world is just an enjoyable side benefi----"

Different endings, based on previous player choices:

• Orb breaks, Solas looks sad, Inquisitor comforts him, they don't see the demons coming, both die together.
• Orb breaks, Solas looks sad, Inquisitor grabs his hand, they escape into the fade, they live there happily ever after.
• Orb breaks, Solas looks sad, Flemeth reappears and says "Hate to say I told you so", (fade to black).
• Bright flash of light, ZAP sound, DA universe reboot.

Let's not be rash. According to mangas, if the stalker is cute then he feels it's one-sided love and doesn't wish for you to be disgusted by an uncool person like him. But unaware you share his love. If he's ugly and illustrated to have detailed shadowing around his face, then you should watch out for kidnapping and body possession. Becoming one and all that jazz.
