How would you feel if they only announced... one?   That's what I'm worried about, the forums will burn if that happens especially since it'd probably be Vivienne

 

I didn't want to give voice to my suspicion leading up to Gaymer X, which was that they'd only announce one and it would be The Iron Bull (simply because everyone suspected anyway from the hints and accidental tweets). I didn't want to say it because I hoped that maybe by not speaking it, it would somehow make it not be the reality. But then it happened anyway instead of us getting ALL the remaining LIs.

 

And I've been getting that feeling again. If Vivienne is in, I'd almost bet she'd be next announced because they just announced a male LI, so seems if the remaining female is a LI, that'd be next on the announcement block. Leaving the Blackwall, Varric, and Solas fans in torment. Again. Still.

 

I can only hope if that happens, then it follows the pattern of Solas being the last companion reveal... in the hopes that he'd be the last LI reveal, too.

but...I have this feeling too they'll announce Vivienne (the most expected romance, since is the last available female LI) and than wait to reveal who the last male LI is. wait a lot. letting us suffer. and grow our crazyness...

That does seem rather likely, doesn't it? Announcing Vivienne as an LI first makes more sense--brings up the anxiety, causes more conversation, more madness to had this way. Unless Vivienne isn't an LI, in which case they should probably announce that first, wait for the fires from the rioting to die down, and then announce the last two LI.

We've hit that point where we all realize that some people are gonna be hurt by how the LI's fall. There are four characters left to be an LI, and only two slots. And all of us are super nice people. I don't want the Varricmancers to be upset, but I don't want to be upset, either. It's a very weird feeling right now. It doesn't help that most of us were banking on the Iron Bull being gated.

Yep. The best thing we can do is stay objective, and stay awesome, no matter how the cards fall. There is still a chance it may be Blackwall, so which ever way it turns out, somebody is bound to be disappointed.

I'm confident that the 8 options offered, whatever they end up being, will be awesome. It's more diverse than we've ever had in a Bioware game, and I'm really excited.

Yes, it's a strange place to be in.

 

Because one of four things could happen for me:

 

1. Vivienne and Blackwall are the last two LIs and I go cry in a corner for a little bit.

 

2. One of those two and Varric are the last LIs, at which I'll rejoice for Varric but cry for Solas.

 

3. One of those two and Solas are the last LIs, at which I'll rejoice for Solas but cry for Varric.

 

4. Both Varric and Solas are the last two LIs, at which the world will end from my impending GIFpocalypse of Joy.

 

It's... a bit ironic that the two I really want may be pitted against each other in some Celebrity Death Match to win a spot.

I'm trying so hard not to think that, but somewhere in the back of my mind there's a voice that tells me this is going to be the case... But I'd say we're a tough bunch, doesn't matter if it turns out disappointing or incredible, we'll get through this! Go BEES! They can't do that to US !!! They have to announce them the same day via Twitter, put a video about romances in Inquisition on Youtube or just few new pics of the last two LI's so we can make a wallpaper or a screensaver out of them. Them we can go and cry or hibernate until October.

 

PS: If they are  going to announce Varric and Vivienne as straight only i will post a lot of tears and ocean pics and some emo stuff on both Blackwall and Solas threds so we can cry together

best for last ;3; I'm a little less desperate for Solas now that IB is a romance, but I can understand, it would take away my (hopefully if he's romanceable and not race gated) adaar rogue female with him... if he is romanceable and race gated, human, she'll be human and I'll just have to play 2 human female playthroughs and one male elf playthroughXD (for cassandra)
