I'm not so certain! One thing that is fairly apparent is that many of your companions do see you as the herald of Andraste. Even if Lavellan did not personally suggest that she was following that path, all they have to hand wave is that she was being 'guided' by the Maker.

 

Which is not to say that Leliana would say that, or anything. But two hundred years down the line, if Lavellan was rumored to be connected with the Dread Wolf in some fashion, I am almost certain it would be bled down into the herald conquering by the Maker's will. People talk. No one would ever get the full story, so they would do their best to fit it into what they know to be true.

I have accidentally hardened (My Warden is very disappointed in Lavellan) Leliana as Divine.  It's terrifying, but once I got used to the idea, I think I prefer it.    Also when I heard the alternative with Cass turns the Circles into a military sort of organization, I think I like Leliana's way better.

So much this. Down the line, people are going to reinvent Lavellan. They may even whittle down her ears and make her human like they did with Shartan. But she knows she's not divine, and her closest companions know it too. It's like with Cassnadra - people see her a legend, and her story has taken on a life of it's own when there is so much more to it. People forget it, romanticize, change it to suit their needs and comforts. They'll do the same with Lavellan, and my girl hates it.

The flip side of that is that legends inspire and give hope, especially for the elves. Mahariel or Tabris or Surana could look back at Garahel's example and say "damn it, I can do this."

I accidently chose Lelianna instead of Cass and I regret it so much. I like the Circles and that Cass was going to make the circles better instead of just dissolving them completely....I'm a true believer in the Templar Order ^{Please don't hate me...}

I have the softer Leliana as Divine.  She wins everyone over with niceness before knives.  And being really, really terrifying (I'd assume.  This is Leliana.)

Regarding the last two lines, I thought the subject was Tyrdda, not Hendyr. She chose her child to lead her clan, and then, after giving all her worldly possessions away as gifts, she left her tribe to find her lover.

 

Those missing last four lines really are suspicious though. Wait, let me check the war table missions related to Tyrdda.

Apparently, in pursuit of the golden city being referred to in the saga, the Alamarri would have pushed north, where the Neromenians already are. So maybe, whoever was calling out to Thelm Gold-Handed, most likely Dirthamen, was also calling out to the Neromenians, who will eventually succeed in getting to the Golden City as Tevinters. Or maybe it's Dirthamen who's talking with the Alamarri, and Falon'din who's working on the Neromenians, since you can't have one without the other.

This is part of why I like normal, Muggle Lavellan who has absolutely nothing remarkable other than the Anchor, which she chalks up to dumb luck.  There's something to be said for a character who protests the romanticization at every turn, refuses to use her own legend, and turns down every source of power other than what she can achieve on her own.  

 

Man, now I'm all nostalgic for Baldur's Gate.  What a game.  I want my Lavellan and my Bhaalspawn to have tea at some point.

Let's all celebrate our Muggle Lavellan's. My little rebel girl.   She revels in her ordinary-ness.  She's enthralled by her teammates because to her they are the extraordinary ones. The anchor was an accident. Nothing more than the result of her being nosy...as usual.

 

Yep. Terrwyn knows she's powerful on her own which she achieves through study and practice; and she's not arrogant about it, she is just aware of her power. She doesn't need godhood slapped on her person to prove her strength. Her companions are just as powerful - she was just in the "right" place at the "right" time.

I still don't understand exactly how the Divine choosing works; my Lavellan was like, "whatever, shemlen should choose their own holy people don't look at me...", and I went through the entire game thinking that Cass was most likely from the way they were talking.  Then I hit the epilogue, and it's scariest Leliana Divine.   I was more in support of what Cass was saying, with improving on the Circle system.  But after hearing what some of her changes actually were, I think my Lavellan would have preferred Leliana's new order better, so it worked out.  My biggest concern is that young mages still need training, but hopefully the new College of Enchanters will be an answer to that.

 

Nah, I don't hate Templars.    I'm still wondering what exactly became of them in my world state.  I assume they would still be needed in some capacity, but there's no word of whether they completely disbanded or what.  All the sane Templars seemed to be absorbed into the Inquisition.  Cass is rebuilding the Seekers, so I figure if they reappear in an organized fashion, it'll probably be from there.

If there was ever a rumor of Lavellan and the Dread Wolf, I'm sure the chantry would spin it to indicate that the maker had conquered the 'pagan' religions. The herald of Andraste could tame even the dreaded wolf.

Hardened Leliana is very scary, but she also amuses me because the way she is in DA:I, she really reminds me of my canon Warden.
