@Janesutin - So, what are your thoughts on Korean BB cream?

...That moment when you're trying to juggle an emotional heartfelt discussion on the Bioware forums and a Google+ conversation explaining to men that not everyone likes boobs :I ugh...
I have a younger sister too who I absolutely love and adore. Her birthday is coming up next week and I havent decided on a present yet.
That aside its even more crucial Solas stops whatever he is doing and comes back to Lavellan
My Dalish Scout on the other hand has a happy childhood with her looking up to her elder brother who is the Keeper's first. Her only wish was that she could also wield magic like him. He would often entertain her with stories of spirits and demons :3 She is definitely more stronger than Mage Lavellan.
Little sisters are truly the best friends you could ever ask for
AH, Birthdays are so stressful for me, my little sister's is also coming up in a few months. What kind of stuff does your sister like?
YES. Bioware seriously needs to make Solas get his bald-ass back to your Lavellan, her story's sad enough as it is without him walking the path of solitude for eternity and enacting some secret elaborate plan of elven glory ![]()
I think you're Mage Lavellan is an incredibly strong character. I could barely function (Hell, still can't) after my Grandpa passed away, I can't imagine losing any of my siblings and still being able to live...especially to the circumstances your Lavellan did. The characters that have suffered losses, that struggle, that go on trying to be good despite being broken by life, those are the ones I feel are truly strong.

I never used bb cream because I feel it is not neccessary to put that on my face. It only makes my skin worse. I had mild acne when I was younger. Now.. I don't really have any problems on my skin anymore so I just use mineral powder which does all the trick. It is light, it breathes and it is made of natural ingridients and it covers perfectly.
I actually have a make up tutorial video on youtube XD ppl requested me to do it haha
*ahem* So Jakface tweeted a Solas collage. That carton of eggs...

No fair. I always pick Solas first. They did it on purpose ;_;
pfffft lolol, you've got to wonder what Solas is seeing that could make that facial expression occur XD
I always pick Solas first and I've never seen him dead...curious...

Oh man I love it. Missha makes a good bb cream that is suuuuper hydrating plus it's SPF 42 which is nice. Mineral powders just always seem to kill my skin, I don't know why.
On an unrelated note... Is there anyone who still needs an Archive of our Own invite?
Its hard to get her a present. She has no interest in makeup or clothes or jewellery.
She is still a kid at heart despite turning 21. Loves cutesy stuff and reading mangas. Totally into vampires and werewolves. I asked her what would she like but no answer yet x.x

I'm also not into makeup and accessories, doesn't mean it's hard to find a present.
If she's totally into manga and horror fantasy what more do you want? I mean, come on, the market is full of it. Get her some rare manga she surely does not have, for example. Or a Vampire Knight box set. Or something funny like http://www.amazon.co...ewolf notebook?Surely you can secretly check out her room/apartment to see what she already has?
.
OMFG yes. I do. Because... LITERATURE. HIGH class literature.
PM your email address and I shall send you one! I have a total of 3 unused invites.

I order mine from UK. It is somehow expensive but totally worth it. All Bb creams makes me get some small pimples. Also the mineral powder should not be MATTE otherwise it will dry your skin and not actually help it.
You are so lucky! Mineral powder just had no staying power on my skin and would just slide off. Totally changed my skin type from dry to combination. Which wasn't fun.
So I pulled hard onto Korean BB Creams (Etude House's Precious BB cream, lightest it goes) and I don't even use concealer now at all. It's an ALL-trick pony and keeps me looking all natural but still porcelain. I'll check out your tutorial though for sure!
Weird.. I wonder what kind of powder you tried ö.ö Mine stays on and if I get water on my face it is very easy to fix it XD. I always put moisturizing cream under the mineral powder though. I use this one: www.feelunique.com/p/Bare-Escentuals-SPF15-Foundation-Lockable-Sifter-8g
So I was in the Hinterlands at the start of my third playthrough and suddenly this new banter between Solas and Varric which I had never gotten before popped up.
It was Solas questioning Varric about Hard in Hightown and how it had a lot of deceit and trickery.
Foreshadowing much.
Yes! Doesn't he ask him if there was any character in his book that wasn't an agent of some kind?
And the exact same thing could be said of our top team in DA:I...
Speaking of backgrounds: my Lavellan had quite a happy life. She is the clan's Keeper's granddaughter, her grandfather is the clan's hahren, and her mother was the best hunter.
Her father is the circle runaway and is quite educated and the Lavellan clan as a whole is very open-minded and often trade with the nearest cities, so that's how I explain my Lavellan's knowledge of human history and politics. She liked to read and often went with the merchants to Wycome to find new books. (She also studied intensively after becoming Inquisitor)
If a rogue, she is the best clan hunter (surpassing her aging mother who trained her), if a mage, she is the Keeper's first, obviously.
She had a few boyfriends over her life but never anything serious because she felt she couldn't find the "right" man for her. (at the beginning of Inquisition she is about 30).
...to put it shortly, my Lavellan is the special snowflake ![]()
PS: Also, I like to play in my mind with the idea that Solas during his travels passed through the lands of Lavellan clan on his way to Haven.
He was surprised about how friendly they were to him, unlike most dalish clans. He had some talk with the Keeper, during which he told her about planned conclave and that he's going to go there. They also discussed Fade and stuff and the Keeper mentioned that her granddaughter would probably be fascinated by his stories, but unfortunately she was in the city with the clan's merchants at that time.
Several days after Solas went on his way, Lavellan returned and also brought news about the conclave in Haven, so the clan gathered a council and decided to send her to check on it.
Yeah, I like to think the opposite of my Lavellans. Maybe she's the clan's cook and they sent her cause, you know, if she's lost then it's no biggie. Plus, she's generally the best to deal with other races as she's a bit like "meh, if they're nice I'm nice" attitude. I like the thought of her being a complete nobody...and also maybe really bad at fighting. IIt would be interesting to have to struggle not just with the responsibility but also with the amount of learning and training.
I also really like that she's just totally plain to look at. That, if everyone was honest, if she hadn't been marked with the Anchor she would have been completely dismissed by everyone.
It's based on what order you pick them up in the cells. I don't remember which it has to be for the Solas-as-corpse scenario.I always pick Solas first and I've never seen him dead...curious...

Ohhh ok, interesting, I'll contiune picking him up second then lol. Sorry Cass ![]()

I was thinking the exact same thing about my first Lavellan..... but on subsequent playthroughs, I actually read the part about her being a hunter for the clan. So that threw a bit of a wrench into my, "not a trained warrior" headcanon. Although I suppose you can just ignore that bit.
I finished romancing Solas for the second time today. I like Solas. I like him a lot, but I think the ending depresses me too much. And there's just so little Solas romance content that that depresses me too. I'll likely only romance him again if we ever get a better resolution in future games or DLC.
I was wondering... am I the only one who thinks it would be interesting if he'd been romanceable for human inquistors? I know "elf-only" seems like an obvious part of his personality, but if he'd been open to a really lovely & beautiful human, then I would have felt like I REALLY got under his skin and changed his mind about things. I'm sure I'm the only one who will feel this way.
Also.. am I the only one who prefers a happy ending? I'm just so darned depressed....all over again... which means the writing must be pretty good. And I'm a romance writer myself, so I should know. ![]()
As a romance writer, I think I would have added one more scene at the end. Rather than lonely Lavellans getting the "forever alone" ending, I would have had Solas come to her in the Fade again and kiss her goodbye one last time. Or whisper that he loved her. I think that could have been amazing.
If Solas can get into Cole's mind, does that mean Solas can get into Lavellan's head too? (I hope he doesn't discover that my lavellan was the one who accidentally set his coat tail on fire)
