I'm getting a lot more nervous now that his reveal is so close, and we're not getting only an image with a quote but also a video where they talk about his personality for like 5 minutes! I can't wait to hear his voice and some of his lines

Well they did it with Iron Bull so I'm thinking that it'd be logical that they would do that with every companion, though he's the only one with a video yet. But why do it only for Iron Bull, wouldn't that be weird and.. very unfair?

Sounds like wishful thinking to me. This marketing campaign is being controlled by Vivienne, nothing is going to be "fair".

I've finished a little chibi Solas. Just inchiostration, I didn't colored it yet (yes: I'm that kind of crazy who make the drawing and inchiostration and than scan the page and color it with photoshop because can't use the graphic tablet

They've actually done a few different voice actor videos. Iron Bull is just the only DAI character who got a video to himself. Brian Bloom (Varic) shared a video with Claudia Black (Morrigan) before the Iron Bull video came out. It might have to do with the voice actors themselves / how much experience they have with Bioware whether or not the character gets a video. There hasn't been much of a discernible pattern to be honest.

That's true, but I felt like that the IB video was meant to give more insight in his character because he was the only character with a video like that that we hadn't met before. So I was hoping they would do that for every companion, but like mentioned before there's barely any pattern to their marketing unfortunatly, which makes me so sad

The videos are fun, so I hope we get some more of those, even if they just do a general one showing off snippets of the different characters and their VAs. I've said it before, but the Iron Bull video was what finally sold me on the character, so I'd like to at least get a little of the different voices we'll be hearing. And BioWare hires such fun actors! The enthusiasm is infectious.

For example IB's oddly sophisticated voice makes him feel like more than just the hedonistic drunk his profile makes him out to be Adds a new layer to the character, I think.

I think I was sold by the mayhem banter with Sera, but the video certainly solidified my stance on IB xD

His apparent affection for the words "weird" and "crap" made me love him. Well, and Freddie's descriptions of him. The Bull is not just some swaggering alphahole. I totally agree with you, there's no substitute for actually "meeting" the characters, and I think the vids are a lovely intro.
That vid sold me on IB as well. Freddie's enthusiasm is so infectious.
Actually I just tested out some links with phony names. Unless we'll be getting an elf named "Dwassssd" in the game I think those are just the default pages for broken links, meaning nothing special has been set up on the site for Solas yet.
It seems to take you to a blank page with the little header put in no matter what name you type in the name line. I went to Dorian's page and replaced his name in the line with "Cullen" and got the same blank page. So, I tried "George" and got the same blank page. Maybe George is a very important, unknown NPC, I thought, so I put in "Doucheface" and got the same result. So...
Listen, man, Doucheface has led a tough life being burdened with that name. He earned his place in the Inquisition just like everybody else!
