It will be interesting to see where that all goes. I too was one who thought we'd end up bound to Solas now by the end of the game. Makes sense doesn't it?
Bioware's sort of given us mostly the illusion of choice this game. Wouldn't be surprising if no matter what your decision was, you end up bound to Solas. If you don't drink, Solas still has influence over you with his key. Now maybe even moreso since he has flemeth's mojo and his godhood. If you do drink, Flemeth's authority transfers over to him. In theory.

Too bad the romance is ambiguous. Sex alters generally require virgins or else the spell won't work due to broke hymen. Unfortunately science is not advanced enough to fix that problem. All they have is bloodletting, and that won't do.
