I don't think he was mad at her. He was just very depressed. He sad walks off.
He hadn't chickened out yet, so at that point, she was rejecting him just as he was about to tell the truth. Even if he doesn't.
Too bad the romance is ambiguous. Sex alters generally require virgins or else the spell won't work due to broke hymen. Unfortunately science is not advanced enough to fix that problem. All they have is bloodletting, and that won't do.
You're right. I forgot I wasn't a virgin.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Good Day! I come bearing gifts!! Have some Solas, a necessary nutrient for an unhealthy Elvhen romance diet!
Before I go to work, because ugh! Have fun!
Spoiler
omg that is so cute it's killing me. Seriously considering going out for cardstock so I can print myself a little postcard of this would that be weird
Also did you guys see that the same artist did a Cole pattern too?
I can't portray the break up but I am drawing Lavellan stabbing Solas in the back during an embrace. So I got that going for me.

It's cute, but I expected him to be more creepy looking. Pale, sickly, like he embodies a corpse from the waters. I didn't know it was Cole. I think it's the hair parting and a lack of a hat.
Wait what? This is if you dump him? Like, he's pissed at you for dumping him first!!!!?? What!
He's not pissed. He is incredibly heartbroken, given that he brought you out there to tell you the truth and presumably ask if you wanted to join him that's totally understandable.

LOL maybe they'll accept born again virgins. LOLOL.
That could be. Morrigan is assertive, but she's not afraid to be sexy, so she's not as threatening as Cassandra can be by a long shot.
And I'll be very honest, it's hard to be intimidated by anyone dressed like that. Cassandra gives no fucks at all about making you horny, lol. I love her armor design.
I don't have anything against Morrigan's clothing though. It works for a witch. I'm just glad that they made Cass' armor practical and fitting for her role.
On a bit off side note: and absolutely no panzer-bras! I'm so glad BW does not follow this direction.
Sorry, I tend to be a bit aggressive when I think about the woman armor in so many games:

And then, the armor's not even hot 9 times out of 10, lol. If you're gonna wear something skimpy, you might as well stick to cloth. You're just as likely to die anyway.

I find qunari "bras" even worse than chainmail bikini armour.
Useless, absolutely useless!
I'm ok with the "bed bound". : p
Did I miss something in the end ?
Spoiler
Yeah. The anchor is part of them now. Permanently. The only way to get rid of it, is they would have to die. Corypheus, I believe, thought -- at Haven -- it was still partially bound to the orb. He discovers it is not and he can never get it back. And I agree with your second statement. I don't think the anchor could give Solas any power over you because of that fact - I think he may want to use its power though since its the key to opening eluvians/portals into the Fade. So that may be the excuse that they[the writers] use to bring the Inquisitor and Solas back together.

I like it, it's different from just cupping boobs.
But cupping boobs is what you need a bra to do! That thing is a scarf waiting to happen, one slight movement and out you pop.
Looks squished to me, like a sports bra.

Dang.. I take back what I said about Qunari women, I could work with that ![]()
This is what I believe, myself. Of course, he would have a lot of groveling to do first. Or at least walking around half naked all graceful-like with his little swagger... Or... You know... Look at me... Like... That. ****. I've got it bad.
Truth is, my Lavellan kind of forgave him before he even left. She can't harbor a grudge. Not against him. But she would never tell him that and probably would make him do a considerable amount of "making it up to her" before she ever acted warmly towards him again...
I should clarify - I meant the plot device by which the writers/devs get the Inquisitor(non-romanced/romanced/friend/foe) and Solas to cross paths again. Not romance together. I am really intrigued by the fact that the Inquistor can open portals into the Fade and I am wondering if that will come into play later. I can't imagine someone like Solas would just let that drop.
That might not be very ethical of him, to say the least. If he says their relationship is over, I believe the only way he can kiss her after that would be asking for her forgiveness and asking if she would take him back and rekindle their relationship. And only if she agrees, then he has a right to speak to her about love. Otherwise we might be getting into the territory of mixed messages and perhaps emotional abuse(I might even say "torture"). Imagine: Lavellan loves Solas very much, and he breaks her heart by saying "no, it's over". She's devastated, she is trying to learn to live without him, just to get up every morning, and then he suddenly pops up with a kiss or a whispered word of love - and disappears again. And maybe does that more than once. I really shudder when I think of what these visits would to to her. It seems to me that Solas would not do that to her - although, of course, I respect that people would like to replay that in their head or fanfiction, but to me such behavior seems unhealthy, callous, hurtful to Lavellan, and perhaps more than a little cruel.
But Solas can be cruel to me all he wants. ![]()
He's already been a bit cruel in that department, to be honest. All that, "you're wonderful, you're special, you've surprised me" *butt grab* and then two seconds later, "bam! It won't happen again."
Something is better than nothing to me, I guess.
Yes. So did I, but also... Fan fiction.I should clarify - I meant the plot device by which the writers/devs get the Inquisitor(non-romanced/romanced/friend/foe) and Solas to cross paths again. Squishing the top part doesn't really do much gravity etc would still make you sway.
Is this conversation getting weird?
