Actually this Solas is terribly undecided, isn't he?

You know, part of me wonders... He is a REBEL God after all. He's sort of rebelling against himself, isn't he?

I made Solas look a bit startled because I'm entertained by the idea that he either didn't expect the dip, or didn't expect it to be that deep. He often says the Inquisitor is hard for him to predict, after all.

 

I clocked 32 hours of work on this picture.

Yeah, I don't get why some people are unhappy at the fact that the inquisitor has to wear the PJ..
I mean, Skyhold is home, and at home, you wear something comfortable. She/he wears the armor all the time.. give the poor quizzy a break!
Plus all the others also wear their comfortable clothes..
Think about Lavellan going to visit Solas in full armor when he's wearing his hobo clothes XD that wouldn't make sense..
Or a Cullen sex scene when he throws stuff out of the table and you're like "wait, I have to remove my chainmail first!" 



Ok that the PJ isn't looking great, but honestly, no one looks sexy in their pijamas anyway!

Haha, exactly, very well put. But actually I find very troubling with this character: with all his intelligence, rationalisation etc. he also acts emotionally and somehow I have a feeling he does not allow himself to accept the decisions of his emotional part.

 

I mean... I am pretty sure the Great Betrayal started with emotions, probably raising anger on injustice in ancient Arlathan (speculating here), result: guilt and sorrow. Solavellan: definately he's torn apart, then he invests emotionally, then breaks up, result: even more torn apart, guilt and sorrow.

 

What I don't get is why such a smart person would not rationalize his emotions too and just... accept them and their consequences?

As in, what's in the deep woods? It's out west. Everything's out west and there is weirdness going on in a big forest out west?

So has anybody noticed the difference in Solas' clothing during the scene in the Fade? When I play Eleanor Trevelyan he's wearing his hang around Skyhold clothing. When I play Lorinth Levallan he's wearing the armor he's wearing when you first meet him. Now I don't know if this is because Lorinth is romancing him and Eleanor (obviously) is not or it's because Lorinth is a rogue and Eleanor a mage or if this is just an Xbox One bug. Any ideas?

I noticed that too. There are times when he looks super young. Usually he's got this sort of ageless quality about him.

 

 

But those freckles make him look quite boyish sometimes.

 

When Solas does the nose scrunchy, it always reminds me of Fenris. Must be a wolfy elf thing.

I love Last Court, I keep hoping we'll have story DLC in the area.  And yeah, everyone's headed west for some reason, and Serault is supposed to be the last stop of civilization before the uncharted west of Thedas.  I wanna check out all that weirdness in the woods.  Spirit Courts?  Some of the enemy monsters in the art book looked like the possessed spirit slaves from Last Court, with flowers growing out of the eyes and stuff.  But none of that was actually in DA:I, so I'm hoping that may be something planned for DLC...

He did the same for me (thank god he got to kiss my lavellan with the warden armor and not his scrubby outfit) as I also have a xbone though....so I'm not sure if this helps you at all 

 

I have PC, and the same thing happened for me.  I think it's just a funny little bug.  It means I got his Fade kiss while he was wearing that awful yellow plaid
