I want to discuss The Last Court, Serault, and specifically the deep woods.

I've been thinking about Solas' attractivness. He's not handsome, not in a classic way, but it's all about his posture and voice (think Cumberbatch). And now I have this cross-concept of a DLC scene, something like last scene in Sherlock 2 season, with Lavellan as Watson, Solas as Sherlock, spiced with Prepared to Do Anything and The Woman soundtrack. Wish I was a better artist...

Hmmm. As for the info, gracias. It is strange; I have done things in contrast with each other (in different playthroughs) and still ended up with Cass as Divine. Even when I was trying for a different outcome. I think she likes my PC's too much (and them her....like I said - big ole lady crush!

And thanks for that tip, luckily I love the biggest pauldrons they have and I always wear them and the battlemaster mail ones later in the game, so I should be okay when I try it. I'll do a fem lavellan first though. Perfect time to enjoy knight enchanter for myself.

Lol, if that was a dagger then I would have to agree with you. I prefer blades rather than guns, since I was taught how to throw knives and tomahawks. I think I would do much better with bringing a knife to a gunfight, rather than a gun.

Quick question: how do you guys build Solas? I always level him (and all the companions) automatically and let the AI take it, for that reason he is generally a electricity and spirit mage. Dorian is fire, Viv is ice. Do you guys do it different?
I build Solas as an area control mage, since his Rift Magic tree does a good job of clumping enemies. So I take a little bit from each tree, though most of it is from Cold. Rift Mage + Ice Mine = enemies going nowhere fast. Then I toss in the Iron Bull blender and wind up with a nice, smooth Venatori puree.

I spec out his rift mage stuff almost all the way, along with the stuff necessary for barriers to be strong and to keep aggro off of him.
Beyond that, I just make sure he has the flame mine spell that does huge amounts of damage. He's a monster with damage and crowd control.

Every time I make my mages Elementalists, so Solas has skills in every tree which drastically helps on Nightmare mode.
