I want to see Solas as a full on villian now. Not in my own game but in someone else's game on YouTube lol.

I feel like I would be vaguely turned on by the whole thing.

On topic, I've cried before as well when a favorite boss left. I also cried when I left Sephora, even though I knew I had to for my own sanity and for money reasons. I hated leaving my boss who I loved and my coworkers.

Ugh that's a terrible thought.

I wonder how much work it would be for a DLC to have separate paths Solas can take depending on friendship or rivalry paths, like in his scheme he will spare as many humans as possible or maybe he goes full on villian.

And the Gaider has to write him. Ugh.

I don't see it. It'd be like throwing all the nuance that Weekes has written into his character right out the window.  He obviously cares for the plight of elves but no more/as much as anyone should. They are a minority group that has to live in a system that actively works to keep them in poverty OR they are forced to literally live on the fringes of society.   He's just trying to make it so they have a choice at the kind of life they live.  I don't think he'd necessarily mourn if some humans died, but he does care about all life.  He recognizes that the people of Ferelden - Crestwood/Hinterlands(almost all humans) - deserved better and knows they were failed by their governments.  He feels for them.  I don't think he would remark on something like that and say 'welp sucks to be them...and im going to kill you all'. 

 

In the rivalry path - where he starts yelling at the Inquisitor and hopes to see them fall, I think it's more that he loves watching people fail over their own abuse of power.

I'd be heartbroken too. I mean, Solas is already pretty jaded, so he's much more likely to become a villain. Cass though, she's such a bastion of faith. What sort of horror would it take for her to turn Dark?
