Speaking of villainy. I watched Dracula Untold today and was drawing parallels between Vlad & Solas.
Both tried their best to protect their people and were later vilified for it.

I felt sad for a while. Its terrible to see the descent of a hero to a tragic character.
I hope BW introduces a chance for redemption for him. *waves team optimism flag*

I have a question: do you sketch, using references? If not, how the hell magic!! do you do it? 

I sure do!

I have heard it is frowned upon in some circles, which I simply cannot understand. How else can you understand things if not studying them? If in art school you have models who pose for artists, the same process happens when referencing.

I encourage using references, be it for a pose, or for a color palette, or a background, if you are in doubt.

Eventually things will become easier because you start understanding how things work together and muscle memory comes into play. 

Anatomy study I found is particularly helpful and warm-up sessions before taking on a larger piece. But each person has their own work-flow, so you just gotta do what works best for you.

 

Lol, long rant. I get excited talking about painting and stuff.

Why is there an article about NOTHING!?!?

I hope they come out with announcements about dlc soon. The gaping void in my heart from lack of closure is likely to turn into a black hole. I hope we don't have to wait five more years Like with DAO...

On the upside, they said they're close to implementing an in-game way to change appearance at least? I'll be able to fix my Lavellan's face - whenever she smiles, her teeth clip through her cheeks. Pretty damn freaky the first time it happened.

I feel like I'm on the late train about Bioware goodies, but my t-shirts just came in today and I'm so excited to wear them. Especially the Tower Card. For reference, I bought an XL of the ladies Tower and L of the unisex/mens Grey Warden shirt. The fit is very similar for both of them. Not too tight, but also not very long.

Please forgive the filthy, filthy mirror. My roomate was on bathroom duty and apparently missed a spot. :|

Yes. That aspect, at least, is good news. I just restarted my game after a few hours of play because I couldn't handle my Lavellan's nose. The second try came out perfect, but still... would have been nice to do that in game.
