LOL, did anyone else's Lavellan have a blast at Halamshiral? Mine never drinks a drop, so she was busy getting high off all the intrigue and danger
She was a huge bundle of nerves leading up to Halamshiral. But as soon as she got there, she realized that most of the people present were just the same idiots with fancier clothes, and she had so much fun running circles around them. I headcanon that Solas was very, very turned on watching her play the Game.
Me too
Ok, so the hat is bugged.. damn, I was right... xP
As for the uniform.. I can't stand it. It looks out of place for me for some reason xD Eveybody has awesome dresses and you just look like a royal guard or something. It kinda reminded me of: http://www.paffio.it...tere01/0063.jpg
It's kind of a man's uniform. Okayish for male quizzy, Cullen and the boys I guess (tho It just looks off on Solas imho xD) but for all the females, it doesn't look very feminine :/
I thought about headcannoning it... but wouldn't that be dangerous? Demons and the such.
Lol not IN the fade, silly. After they get home and Solas is still like "we went to the fade, wasn't that fun?" And she's like "you're so cute when you're passionate about something." And he's like... "You know what else I'm passionate about? *wink wink*" except it doesn't look anything like that in my head. I imagine it would be much more subtle. Like... He's so excited about the fade and she just really loves "Solas story time" and then... Idk... Suddenly they're naked?
All things considered, I like the ball uniform for what it is, even if the Inquisition's just a Sugar Plum Fairy short of the Nutcracker ballet. And I understand that the devs were already under enormous time and content pressures.
However, I headcanon my Lavellan wearing a green velvet gown. With just enough skin and back showing to pique Solas's interest
I headcannoned my Ilaria recieving a female Keeper's gown - tailored to be more dressy than practical - from her clan once they heard where she was going (I like to imagine she still keeps in regular contact with her Keeper, who's a bit of a mother figure to her), and she had someone from the Inquisition stitch the Inquisition symbol on the waist. x) She's letting everyone know she's Elf and proud, but she still represents the Inquisition.

Yeah, I much prefer to headcanon a dress. Also dresses for Vivienne, Leliana and Josephine.
Not sure exactly what my girl would wear... Something over the top and possibly embarrassing. Maybe something like this, but in red. [Back of the dress, since the front is much more basic.]
lol Why does the inquisitor all have a ****** face 24/7 except when they're in cut scenes lol. They all have natural ****** faces.
Hahaha. Yeah, everyone's neutral expressions come off as kind of aggressive. It really depends on how high you put the eyebrows, I think. My first (scrapped) Inquisitor looked about ready to murder you while walking around. Final Lavellan looks more determined than pissed, though. Depending on the angle.
Omg I love it! Sounds amazing!! :DDDDD thank you for showing me amazing music!
You're welcome Lindsey has her own channal and Halestorm has its own channel as well, both are really amazing artists. Then there is Paramore, Casey Williams, and so many more!

Spoiler
You'd think she'd be more happy having Solas around, but they both look like they have angry sex every night, or...they're trying to hide the fact that they had really good sex yesterday and their bithc faces hide it.

Heh. Mine's the type that would've gone nuts in a dress. She likes having full mobility. How're you supposed to climb a trellis while wearing a dress?
This disturbs me. It was probably Gaider anyway, he's the type.
Actually it was Jennifer Hepler, if I recall correctly. Queen of the Dwarves, and writer of Paragon of Her Kind. I recall some fans, stunned after seeing the Broodmother trailer, saying that making jokes about equipping her newborn child as a club and upsetting her might have been a bad idea...
Oh, by the way, this is kind of off-topic, but I wanted to know what order you guys do each level in. Something that sort of annoys me about DA:I is that it basically throws all the levels at you, and it's a bit overwhelming to work out which area to do first. I made a list of which order I do them in based on pacing the storyline while still doing the side levels:
Spoiler
Haven (Start)
Hinterlands
The Fallow Mire
Storm Coast
Val Royeaux
Forbidden Oasis (Progressive)
Mages / Templars
Haven (Destruction)
Skyhold (Start)
Exalted Plains
Crestwood
Western Approach
Adamant Keep
Emerald Graves
Emprise du Lion
Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts
Hissing Wastes
Temple of Mythas
Skyhold (Destruction)
I do each stage as fully as I can while I'm there, sometimes leaving the Hinterlands after the farm for Fallow Mire to level and then go back and finish it off. Forbidden Oasis I start before the Templars/Mages choice just to get the ball rolling. I do Exalted Plains first after reaching Skyhold to do Solas' personal quest early on to get balcony kiss and to make it feel like my Ilaria gets to be "with" him longer. Also, hey, I made this relevant to the board!
Things like personal quests and special areas like the Temple of Dumat/etc. I do as and when they crop up.

meh, the inquisition isn't there for enjoyment, they come to represent themselves as a military force worth reckoning. As it has been pointed out by various characters and wartable, you can't just rely on religious influence. You need an army to enforce it.
Even though I like a fancy dress too, it makes sense. Most military uniforms are unisexed. I believe Orlaisan fashion is influenced on a mix of Rococo and Baroque? If you're suggesting a knee high skirt, that won't fit and be rather sexual for a uniform of that fictional time. You can't win court approval by looking like a brothel.
But I think while it won't be fashionable, if you have to have skirt, have a long one.

So, there's my list. How about yours?
My leveling is messed up. I obviously start in hinterlands but the second I get the high level areas I just do those for the challenge and then go back to the low levels.

I RP each of my Quizzies to have a particular talent that helps them fit the role of the Inquisitor. For my Male Lavellan, he's a natural at Social Profiling. He knows how to manipulate everyone. It's one of the only reasons his clan didn't leave him in a ditch bwaha.
But he enjoyed Halamshiral. Playing the Game came so easy to him because he could read everyone's tells and give them exactly what they wanted. Full Court approval and forcing all three to submit and work together under his lead.
He is my DAI Jack Donaghy
I bet Solas was secretly proud and his drunken self watched from the sidelines. He approved OF IT ALL
Dorian definitely enjoyed it. I bet some pretty epic sex was had that night. Ahaaa. Smut.
I haven't taken Niamh Lavellan. I should go now. I really should. I'm level 20. The rest of the Emerald Graves and Emprise Du Lion can wait until after.
She's currently rocking her blunt personality after losing her shiny happy side during Here Lies The Abyss. I've got a whole thorough backstory for her now (walking round the Western Approach in silence leads to headcannoning to fill the time) and so she's now become more like her Ron Swanson-esq dad (who raised her for the first 14 years of her life) instead of her sweet dear old Grandmother (Keeper Lavellan, raised her for the last 10). Her true non-keeper self is slipping through.
She's going to hate it. She won't understand why Celene just doesn't bludgeon Gaspard to death in the hall instead of having a sodding dance. But she's going to grit her teeth and try to get through it as best as she can. Possibly just becoming sarcastic instead.
I think drunk Solas will make the whole affair slightly better drunk she can get on board with. Maybe she'll be downing glasses of wine as she goes. DRUNKEN ORLESIAN POLITICS IS THE ONLY WAY TO DO IT.
I think I'm going to have her reconcile Celene and Briala and have them together. Maybe. I don't know. I'm not sure what outcome best suits her. Definitely not any that gives Briala too much power. She is going to hate her.

That was sort of how my first playthrough went before I lost it. I wanted to do all the "side" levels first, then do the story last, not realizing how it basically throws everything at you at the start, so it wasn't very fun, but when I set out a list - I'm still overleveling on the story at least, but it paces it out a bit more.
I just need to do Hissing Wastes, the temple... then the breakup. ;_; So nervous.
Ooh, I saw this same question last week!
Din - dead, deceased.
Elvhen - elves.
Emma - I am.
Him - become.
So it's literally "Dead elves, I [have] become." However, taken into context what they're saying - Solas marvels what "his people" built (as in, those from his time), Sera shows flagrant disregard and says "who wants to think about stepping on dead elves?" In frustration, he probably meant words to the effect of "My people really are dead!" Or "Have my people really become so dead?!"
Just my guess.
Way late reaction, but I took this more as a colloquialism for "You're killing me!"
