I'm another Facebook and phone hater, though Skype is my lifeline. That reminds me that I actually have a friend I can rarely see, and she had to listen to a copious amount of my Solas weeping. She was quite game (encouraging even). The last time we met up, among the Christmas presents she'd bought me I found this guy at the bottom of the box.
On his tag, she'd written "Found Solas for u" in green marker and I almost cried because friendship and because ...Solas.

I don't think my fantasy vagina is the healing balm of Thedas I should feel morally obligated to share or else NPCs left and right will be barred from character development and growth.
This is the best one-sentence shutdown of romance gated content ever.

This is beautiful! I really love the colors and the overall shape to it.
Yes!
I was really excited when she showed me the sketch because it was a lot more than I was expecting, haha. I love her art.

Anyone else wish for a Galavant style-rendition of Dragon Age? I'd pay so much money to see that happen.
I could get behind this. Patrick Weekes would have a field day with the musical numbers too, since he loves musicals...and from what I can glance from Twitter, some of the other staff members do too, haha.

I email myself all the time. I like getting letters from dumb people so I can feel smarter than them.
..
EDIT: I ship countries together. As that one Tumblr post stated, United Kingdom+United States=Libertea. My friends and associates became very worried about me.
I've also shipped various Popes. I've been informed that that is strange.
Oh no. No you didn't.
*looks around desperately*
Goddamnit. Apparently this is where I out myself as the most ridiculously die-hard USUK shipper. Hetalia is.. whatever. The show is the show. It basically gives history nerds like me a convenient starting point to interpret everything in terms of Alfred and Arthur and I swear to god they are my one eternal OTP and I really need to stop talking now because if I don't, I will lose all credibility as someone to be taken seriously.
Too late?
Too late.
you don't understand- the Revolution and the tension and Alfred's desperate sublimated need for approval and rapprochement and Arthur's stiff upper lip as a declining empire and WW1/2 and... augh...

Adam, my husband, always calls me when he gets off work. Its really sweet but I'm just like...can't you tell me this when you get home in 8 minutes?I've called my SO other twice in my entire life. Once by thigh-dialing while cleaning, and the other time was when I borrowed a phone because I wanted to deliver some good news. (I'm...not good with some of this new-fangled technology, like cell phones or the wheel.) We just text a lot, and talk a lot. Texting is superior. I'm much better at reading than I am at hearing.
We are united in the hatred of calling people.I go monosyllabic on the phone in an effort to make them uncomfortable and just stop talking.
But I think I'd probably miss those calls if he stopped.
And when people call I don't want to talk to but accidentally answer anyway I use one word answers.
Yep. Fine. Okay.

How about this for a topic: People are accusing the Adoribull romance of being abusive, while in the same breath posting gif compilations of the Quizzy punching Solas after the breakup. Tumblr really scares me sometimes. I need the blanket fort
Tumblr is honestly a scary place. You can find some good art and stuff on there...but the community as a whole is a bunch of wild animals...I stopped using tumblr because of all the crazy people...

Yeah, I feel like if anything, they had friendships with him too. Sometimes your friends don't stay together and that's just how the cookie crumbles. You can like both of them while hurting for them and their situation. While what Solas did hurts, it's not like he cheated on Lavellan, up and left straight for Kirkwall's Blooming Rose and spent the entirety of the Inquisition's coffers on luxurious hookers, lyrium, and gourmet Antivan wine. He ended the relationship. That's all. And he fulfilled his obligation to the Inquisition. He helped heal the rift in the sky. He helped down Corypheus.
Him leaving isn't shocking. It's him leaving abruptly once it's over that is. If anything, I think they're all just a little hurt because they all collectively had a relationship with him. They thought he'd at least wait to say goodbye like the rest of your party members who choose to move on. But being upset to the point of physical assault? That's ridiculous.
I find it's an immaturity thing with tumblr. Usually when I see those rants I look at age "18-19" and I'm like 'welp...' That's not to say every 18-19 year is that way and not every adult is mature(HELLO CORPORATE AMERICA) but it trends that way. I can't even headcanon my Lavellan being THAT mad. Just hurt and confused and worried. Then she kind of ices over the pain and keeps on keepin on. I do miss that age though a bit...college and just throwing yourself into relationships because you could.

Virtual hugs your way!
Spoiler
And on the note of God Luck, did anyone laugh out loud like I did when the Sky Watcher tells you that your God must love/ watch over you after you kill the boss in the Fallow Mire? I just imagine Solas behind Lavellan trying to stifle his **** eating grin before she turns around.
On another note - I want more of them. That goat throwing guy was HILARIOUS. Also, A+ voice actor!

You could never pay me enough money to be 18 again.
More than anything I'm so glad I'm out of the dating pool. I legit LOVE being married. I love it. It's way better than anyone ever told me it would be. I would never give that up for all of the young drunken uncertainty of dating at 18.

PFFT. Can't you just imagine Corypheus (whose name means literally "the conductor or leader of the dramatic chorus in Ancient Greece") leading the rest of the Magisters into a musical number about Old Gods, slaves, blood sacrifice, and Golden City penetration? It would be SO. GLORIOUS. And best if served with a heavy dollop of humor.
Eugh. Now I'm think of that incredibly sexually suggestive scene from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" with that cardinal or whatever. That's what it would look like.

I started shipping countries years before I ever heard of Hetalia, but I greatly approved of it when I did hear of it.

Also, Germany being in the trenches and finding a crying child in a box (I think that was it, yes?) as the explanation for the Italian-German alliance is the greatest thing ever.

Same here. It might have even been nice to have had an Avaar companion, since he/she would be so different from the usual human follower. Extra insight into their culture couldn't hurt either....

Oh my gosh, you're spot on as usual. Only I cannot get the image of your Coryflora out of my head, so the entire number is done in that costume. The song would end in a glorious belted note, and Corypheus lifting his skirt to reveal those amazing stockings of his. ![]()
