Too big to post on here.
So. Freaking. True!!!
Summary of the Solas romance:
Lavellan: Baby, I want to absorb you via intramuscular injection because I need to feel your effects inside me immediately. My receptors are ready.
Solas: Vhenan, I'm an antagonist. Your efforts are in vein.
This is what happens when I try to write a pharmacology paper at 2 AM.
I really really want to see a sexy professor fic with Solas.
I...may have some disjointed drabbles of one with grad student Lavellan who has Dorian for her roommate. Though Solas isn't Lavellan's P.I., Leliana is. I work in academia, so for me having Solas be Lavellan's PI is just a touch too close to home.

I know of at least three science teachers who would adopt you just for that joke. ![]()

And so the Thalmor plot is revealed at last...
Now, does this happen on the Stormcloak path as celebration, or on the Imperial path as celebration? I need to know, for, uh, research. ![]()

So this is how Galmar Stone-Fist got his name
Do you have to utilize the Grey Warden treaties in order to get Blackwall personal quest
I don't know if you already got a complete answer, so here I go anyway:
The treaties are not directly connected to his personal quest, but you will miss out on the follow up war table mission if you do not use them. However, since influence is not like war assets in ME it does not matter much.
Blackwalls personal quest is tied to his approval level. It will only trigger after Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts, but also only if you're past a certain approval threshold. Once I went out of my way to gather approval with him in order to make it trigger. This does not necessarily require to take him to the documents but it is difficult to manage without because taking him along will give you +3 approval, while not taking him should be +2 at best, maybe even only +1 (I forgot).
So I can't sit in Judgement anymore. Apparently every time I try, the cut scene doesn't trigger and that grey Warden just kind of stands there in front of me and I stand in front of the chair. I can't interact with her at all.
As mentioned before this is a bug. It will be solved by anything that resets the particular throne's status, i.e., restart the game or change the throne in the Skyhold customization. A simple load of the last save will not work, neither does leaving the area and coming back. You must force the throne to reset.
You know what. On that note. It'd be some glorious mix of Scar's Be Prepared and Rasputin's In the Dark of the Night.
Be Prepared.

Why am I out of liiiiiikes.....*mashes like button*
The resemblance of the Qunari symbol to that crosshatching design elves put all over the place is really starting to make me go "hmm".
The translation of "sulevin" given on the Sulevin Blade description is different from translations of the word elsewhere. There's other examples of elven words with nuances that can result in different translations, so that isn't a big deal, but the translation itself given here is interesting. The translation usually given for the word is "endure", and the concept behind it appears to have been significant to the ancient elves, and to the Dalish, even if they may not have the exact same significance to the concept. But the translation on the Sulevin Blade is "purpose", and my first reaction was how very Qunari it sounds. Really wonder who the "kossith" were...
Anyhoo, Bull's gift from his Dalish boyfriend looks awesome on him.

I ****** hate the halla. Trying to round up that "golden" halla was a nightmare. Wanted to rip the horns off and sell them.
That's what I thought the first time around. But it can be pretty smooth if you follow a simple trick: do not get too close to it. Approach it from behind and always keep your distance. It will take a pretty direct route then. Follow a bit, wait again until it slows/stops. Then move on. This way it goes home directly. (My experience is based on about 6/7 times playing that quest.)
If you do get too close there's basically two stages: first stage it will get excited and try to get away from you. That's when it starts to walk in crooked lines and leave its path. Second, if you get even closer, it will feel attacked and get aggressive, thus becoming a target. You must then leave the area for a bit to make it calm down before approaching it again.
In that it pretty much differs from that Bronto in the Hinterlands, which you must stay rather close to or it might find the pond halfway through soooo nice that it's really hard to get it out of there again. Hated that Bronto.
Ulfric and Tulius go head to head in tonight's FEATURE performance for control of Skyrim.
Roman sculpture of satyr trigger. It's legit a study of a real sculpture in the Louvre. So it's art, guys. REAL ART.

BEST. JOKE. WHY were you not in the chat!?
My artistic skill is limited to photoshopping Solas' head onto things!
That's an entirely valid Solavellan art form. Particularly when it involves eggs. ![]()

> Varric has a "stone shape" (aka fade-shadow, dwarf-style)
...
...
I would like to understand but I fear I do not really. Please explain so I can catch up:
First, what exactly is "fade-shadow"? Is it the instance of me that can walk the fade, basically my mental manifestation there? Or is it something else?
And to what Sister Squish said: Does that mean the Stone is basically the Fade, only a different incarnation of it? Like there is one template "unit" and its instances/incarnations differ from depending on races (Fade for humans and elves, Stone for dwarfs, maybe others)? Or do I misunderstand your "stone shape aka fade-shadow" (possibly because I misunderstand fade-shadow)?

But suledin (endure, strength to withstand loss) and sulevin (certain, purpose) are two different words, at least according to the wiki...
Don't make me repost my Solas meiosis photoshop again. Because gametes are eggs!
What we really need is for Janesutin to take that picture, add in some of Solas's regretful lines as he's leaving, a few images of him, as, y'know, an egghead not an egg, and set it to Circle of Life...
But suledin (endure, strength to withstand loss) and sulevin (certain, purpose) are two different words, at least according to the wiki...
Oooh, I've never caught that. Nevermind then.
It's like Fenedhis and Fenhedis all over again, I always have trouble keeping those straight, and those are separate languages.
