So I am playing yet another Lavellan and got to the chest game with Cullen post Solas balcony scene. For shits and giggles I flirted with Cullen and he asked if I wouldn't prefer Solas' company. Lavellan answers something like 'Well, I meant as friends'. I felt so bad!

I did that too, after the breakup scene. I was so tempted to start a Cullen romance but then I just couldn't...

I don't think you can, actually. Solas' romance stays locked in after he breaks up with you. You can ask Cullen to talk alone but he will refuse.
Though I never tried to postpone talking to him that long in order to save the chess game. Still I do not think BW allows you to leave the sinking ship so late in the game. Did anybody try this?

As long as you break up with Solas before he breaks up with you, you can romance Cullen. I had already done the chess scene, never took a single flirt with him. For my own curiosity I dumped Solas, and quickly chained through Cullen's romance. You can get all the romance scenes one after another.

idk. It did in my playthrough.
. I was mad after the breakup scene so I first went to Sera but her flirt option was gone, so I went to Cullen and it gave me the option to "Start a romance with Cullen" but I never actually did it because I didn't want to betray Solas even though he left

Some of you might've seen this movie:
I really liked it. It is sad but some things about this man reminds me of Solas. He has a secret, he lies about who he is and he also has a plan. He wants to help people which in the other hand reminds me of Cole.
The way he behaves sort of reminds me of Solas really a lot. Now obiviously the story is not exactly like Solas' story and we don't actually even know what is going to happen in the future in the game but I thought some of you might want to see it x3
Warning: Prepare loads of tissues.

Ah, I didn't realise a patch was coming out today. Thanks Solas Thead ![]()
Was in the middle of Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts. Popped off to download and install, luckily it's going pretty fast.
I was taking Varric with me for the first time and I didn't realise that little shitemonster puts himself behind a Halla Statue locked door. Damn it, Varric. I use up all my Halla statues unlocking plot line doors (for the elven locket and in Celene's naked guest) and have none left over for him. Grumble. Will just have to use some reloading so I can see what he has to say and still be able to get my plot points.
First time taking Blackwall as well. Lie harder, dude. Although I loved his comment about how Cullen had about 9 ladies and 6 gentlemen ask him to dance, then about 2 marriage proposals and how he was going to need a bodyguard. Poor Cullen, the walking piece of fanservice that he is.
Right, time to go test out this patch.

Yes, that I know. I had understood she wanted to go with Cullen after Solas had left her. Kind of "to ease the pain".
Btw, you cannot really get all the scenes anymore. Right after the Wilds his "goodbye" scene is locked already and it plays a bit different if you were with Solas when finishing the Wilds, even if you break up. At last it was like that for me always. When I went to Cullen after breaking up with Solas he I would get the gooybye scene first and the others would chain in after that.
idk. It did in my playthrough.

I'm going to take another look at the last one I made when I get home from school today because I felt like she was mostly acceptable, but I just can't get the nose right. The nose on my original Lysaris was perfect I don't know how I did it. I don't know what I did differently. I'm pretty sure I used the same nose as I did last time, but for some reason, it's just not right. She looked more cat-like last time. I really liked that about her.I wish there was a start from last creation or 'template'. I wanted my first CC on my cannon and I got close...but not quite right. Thankfully I have grown to love her more.

That...scares and intrigues me..
Won't that be for their new superhero/superpower game? Unless they have something else in the works I haven't heard about.

The "new IP" was supposed to be something different from the super power game. I don't remember anything more about it tho.

Testing out some of the fixes made with the latest patch and I'm happy they fixed Dorian's personal quest. I was able to do it on my first two playthroughs but not my F!Lavellan playthrough. Load up Lavellan save and Mother Giselle is waiting to talk to my Inquisitor. Success. I'd heard that Solas's other quest "What Lies Dormant" was fixed as well. Went to an artifact I knew I hadn't activated and BAM! I got the "Measuring the Veil" operation to pop up on my war table for the first time. I had written the quest off as being a myth.

Guys, sorry to interupt, but I see the PS4 (I don't know how many of you play on PS4, holla!) recieved an update for DA:I today, but I can't find the patch notes for it. Anyone know where they are or what the patch entails? I still can't seem to get Solas' second personal quest (elven artifacts) to trigger.
Big hugs!
Edit: Oop! Reloaded the game and I got the mission now. Hurrah!

I haven't seen console specific notes, but I think they're supposed to be generally the same as the PC notes here:
http://blog.bioware....-patch-3-notes/
I've been playing a patched PS3 version, and I got the Measuring the Veil war table mission to finally pop.
Maybe keep looking for more artifacts? I think you need a specific number activated. I was just saving one until this patch came through. (Gonna test for that legendary region 21 in the Exalted Plains now...)

Yay \o/ I wonder if the opperation will pop-up after the game is over? I'm not backtracking on my Lavellan to do that sadly. Also, does Solas have to be in the party when you activate them to count? I think my current PT has already gotten nearly all of them but Solas wasn't usually in the party ![]()

Thanks for that!
Estatic they've fixed not being able to revive team members in tactical mode! That'll be a major help in Nightmare mode. It's been enough hassle on Hard as it is. T_T

Guys, I got a plot bunny I can't let go of! The concept is this: Everyone in the Inner Circle knows that Solas and the Inquisitor are together, but also that they haven't done the frickfracksnicksnack. They all decide to "subtly" encourage them to do the deed. I need to have inspiration for who does what!
Here's my ideas so far:
Sera: Steals their cloths and hopes things go as they should.
Cole: Does his usual therapist thing, ofc in a very inappropriate setting.
Bull: Oldest trick in the book. Drinks go down, so does pants.
Vivienne: Gets Lavellan to dress provocatively.
How do you think the rest would "help"? xD
This is why no one should take me seriously.

That always bugged me so much. "I told you to revive them, why won't you do ittt
" I'm currently in the middle of my Hard run, but good to know that'll be working for my next PT, which will be my Nightmare run.

That's fun!
Varric could tell some hot stories to help the mood (but fail miserably I think
)
Cass would probably ask why they didn't do it yet, and offer some pragmatic advice
Dorain, mmh. Drinks? Maybe challenge Solas?
Cullen: No. that's ridiculous.
