They were all awesome, but I specially love this one. That last Solas face while he's probably thinking "HA! Amateurs..."

Just saw this on Tumblr:
<snip>
Ok but joking aside, I'm 90% sure Flemeth's the real main character (aside from Thedas) of DA
I think Flemeth has definitely been the master of puppets during the last centuries, but the main characters in the games are the heroes she pushes sometimes a bit and sometimes a lot (paraphrasing here) in order to make history roll the way she wants.
I LOVE the Dalish Scout Armor. I will run through the Wastes like a bat out of hell at level 10, swan dive into the canon, and fight over-leveled spiders to get it. However, I often find myself thinking about how Lavellan goes to the bathroom in that. How do you get it off and on? Once you get it on, getting it off might be a production. So, yeah.
"No, I don't want any water. I just got my armor ON. Let's just not go by the waterfall. SHUT UP, SERA!"
Deep thoughts.
I love it because it's just so thoughtful. You have the holes in all the joint areas so it breathes. When I noticed that, I was like "Oh that was smart". But at the end of the day it's full body mail.
There's a mod for DA2 that switches the chainmail and cloth parts of the armour. Makes it look a lot more sensible. And the removes the 'how do you pee?' problem.

I suppose it depends on what our definition of "main character" is. I think it's Flemeth, or more appropriately Mythal, mostly because it seems she's got the most at stake, and you can see her hand everywhere.
Though she also fits the Mentor role quite nicely.

Flemeth, Solas, the Seven Magisters, and Sandal all seem to fit as central characters of the Dragon Age setting, while the Hero of Ferelden was the main character of Origins, Hawke of II, and Inquisitor of Inquisition.
Flemeth is a great mentor figure for all the scenes she gets.
The Hero certainly got a quick tutorial in trolling Morrigan.

Solas' first words in the Dragon Age.
Does anyone else get a funny taste in their mouth after they sleep?
It must have been apocalyptic in there. ![]()

As my grandpa would say, something probably got in there.
There's only one way to drink tea. Iced with more sugar than a cupcake in it.
I'm a Southern transplanted to the Midwest. The struggle is real.
I'm a Yankee transplanted to the South. I get horrified looks when I ask for unsweetened tea.

lmao, we're really onboard the Sandal = Juno train, aren't we?
And man yes, them Morrigan burns. Though Flemeth also got hit pretty hard during the Mythal revelation.

I was actually referring to how Sandal has appeared consistently in every Dragon Age game.
The ones that don't have Sandal in them do not count as Dragon Age. *haughty sniff*
Something weird is going on with Sandal, and June seems like a likelier answer than, "Eh, enough lyrium and even dwarves can dream."
What the hell is Kansas anyway, amiright?
Actually Kansas was really nice. Quiet, and the people were SUPER nice.

No, I reject this real world logic. Elves in uthenera were fed water, herbs, and honey, and eventually drew sustenance from the Fade.
Hmmmm.
I wonder if the Fade has a smell? Not the Fade you see in dreams, but I mean the Fade made manifest by a rift mage for example.
Why am I thinking about this?
It's been a while since I finished Dragon Age Inquisition...It's been a while...I've almost finished everything on my main playthrough, the shards, the mosaic, the quests...I feel empty.
I'll take any DLC, any. Just...just give me something...

I try to play another game but I end up starting Dragon Age again and checking everything...Why Solas, Why did you have to be so good? I don't care anymore if it's not a Solas DLC, I just want MOAR from the game!
Why Bioware?!? I thought nothing could top my love for Garrus and then you threw Solas at my face and break me!

...I've just now realized I've been calling June Juno all this time.
*lore fail*
But, but Sandal wasn't in DA:I. Does DA:I not count then?
I'm not into fanfiction and never wrote any myself, but yesterday I was thinking about how Solas and my Lavellan would feel after his departure, and I wrote a couple of pages about it. I'm not on any fanfiction site so I just put it up on Google Drive for anyone who wants to read it. I thought I'd share the link with you, as reading this thread was my main inspiration. So thank you for that!

It has Dagna, so it almost counts. ![]()
It's Drake Period, not Dragon Age.

"Main character" not only as in "protagonist of the game" but also in the sense that they make the wheels of history turn with their actions. I see Thedas as a world where at different times there had been different "mentors" (the ones that saw the big picture and pulled the strings) and "doers" (the ones that achieve the feats) I see the latter as protagonists as they are the resorts of the story and it's their unique quality as individuals that allows their achievements to shake the world (by the way, I'm not into the "everyone is the same" theories. I think different entities were at work at different times)

But you're from the South, Colonel.
My own fellow Washingtonians try to throw me under the bus as a Canadian, only for the mutual friend they use as an example of how I should sound like as an AMERICAN(!!!*sound of gunfire*) to point out, "Um, guys. You do know I'm Canadian, right?"
I've been accused of having a Canadian accent a few times. Mostly stopped now that I've been corrupted by Southern living.

Not yet he says, not never.

Solas probably wishes that was the case
. Things did not go as planned.
