I feel like I've been trapped into signing a contract.

Ah, now I understand.  I tend to write Lavellan without using a first name, but I make it clear she's mage and use the backstory and personality I've made for her.  A blank slate Lavellan is just a little too dull for me.

 

I prefer that for fics. Give her a personality, give her a class, that makes it fun and interesting, and I can pretend it's my Inquisitor in an AU, but - I don't know - when writers put their name in it feels too far removed and puts me off, especially if it's a name I don't like. x)

I try to play another game but I end up starting Dragon Age again and checking everything...Why Solas, Why did you have to be so good?  I don't care anymore if it's not a Solas DLC, I just want MOAR from the game!

 

I've got more games to play this month then I had for the entirety of last year, and yet I seem to still be playing DAI. Once I finish this Lavellan playthrough I will totally get back to the others...yup....I can do it.

 

 

That ugly Solas mod is secretly amazing. Finally a way to stop romancing him   make Solas and Dorian ugly and I'd finally make it to the other romances..Maybe. Oh man, the voices alone would bring me back wouldn't they? What is wrong with me!?

 

 

I was taking some snaps of my Niamh Lavellan during Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts last night and oh boy. This is a face that does not enjoy Orlesian Politics. Even adorable, drunk Solas had a hard time getting a smile from this lemon-sucking face.

Exactly! Garrus's relationship with Shepard (B/romanced) is possibly my favourite thing about the whole game. He's the only one who, when you go after him to be quite happy to come along with you without question. The rest are always like "Nah, wait until ME3" or "Lemme do this first". >_<

No idea. I guess when you're from the south you have to put ice in your drink, so that's what I was used to. If I asked for ice in my soda, I'd get maybe one cube. Grudgingly.

Huh. Nevermind. I guess they just threw me a prank message because they'd know I'd be the only one to panic and go into meltdown mode.

I was just reading some stuff about Proto Indo-European Tribes (because that's how I calm myself into a state fit to sleep, of course. ) and found mention of how it's hypothesized that a three caste system was common in the PIE tribes. Priests, peasants, and warriors. These warriors would consist of young, single men who existed somewhat outside of the tribe's normal structure. They frequently identified themselves with wolves or dogs. The Norse berserkers and legends of werewolves are tied to this origin story in this interpretation. Granted, a lot of PIE theories rest on shaky legs, just because of how far back it was. But I just liked how it tied in with the Dread Wolf's military experience and being set apart from the other Creators.

LOL just to clarify... I meant bugs, lol. He was talking about bugs XD He grew up on a farm, and pest control wasn't much of a thing back in the 30's and on, so something crawling in your mouth at night was especially a thing back then.
