The Forbidden Ones? Otherwise I think it's complete, I'm no lore expert though.Okay, here's a start. This is just so we're all clear on the gods in question. Am I missing any?

On the other hand though, plenty of Inquisitors might not let that fly. Romanced Lavellan lets Solas wait to explain his reasoning because it seems like he thinks one or both of them is going to die.
If he's talking about Corypheus, the first thing an Inquisitor would probably say is: "Uh, come again? Why does it have to wait until the end?"
Why would a romanced Lavellan have to wait on the whole "You'll see comment"? I think It would've worked for the Inquisitor in general to be able to ask him about that, him saying he'd explained afterword makes sense because game mechanic. But to be totally oblivious is kinda ugh.

It could also work the other way around? I mean, some Lavellans might use that same argument like "Ok, if I'm going to die with my heart broken I may as well know why, and if you are the one to die I won't be left in the dark forever."On the other hand though, plenty of Inquisitors might not let that fly. Hm, that's what I meant. Are the forgotten ones and the forbidden ones the same or did I just get it wrong?

As far as we know, they are not the same. Maybe. The Forbidden Ones are demons, and we have the names of several. Forgotten Ones are unknown, and have different names.

"The Stone lives beneath Orlais"...
If we're going to mention Dwarven "deities". The "Earth" in elven mythology comes to mind, but I'm not sure it's an actual god-figure as much as another natural force in the cosmology. The elves born of "Earth" and "Sun", if the "Earth" is the physical realm and the "Sun" represents something beyond the physical, like the Fade or beyond. While the dwarves are born of the "Earth" alone. Interestingly enough, the WoT mentions that the Chantry believes that the Maker didn't create the dwarves. Which is odd, coming from the Chantry. Then again, if Elgar'nan fought a "Sun" figure that actually represented something, as the Emprise region's legends suggest, there might be something more to the "Earth" figure as well. It didn't come up in DA:I, but there's still DLC... I'm hoping that mystery phrase about the Stone is addressed before we move on from southern Thedas.

The musing I was responding to was why they didn't let the Inquisitor ask about Corypheus, and then have him say he'd explain later. In the same way he promises to explain his feelings later.
RomancedLavellan presumably waits until later because they are talking about their relationship, not anything dire. If it was about Corypheus, I don't think any Inquisitor would just let that wait until later.

No idea. They appear to be super demons. I don't know if I'd say they are gods, but they are a step above your typical demon. I'm also not sure where you'd put the Nightmare on that chart. Is he a Forbidden One, or even beyond that?

The Forbidden Ones are high-tier demons, we've been killing them as sub-bosses in each game. The Forgotten Ones are the "evil" pantheon of elven gods. They're still MiA as far as we know, and last known to be locked away somewhere.

Solas: "If we survive Cornflakes, all will be clear. If not, you'll be dead, so yeah. You'll die without knowing. But at least not alone. So there's that. If I die, you will live out your days without things becoming "clear," questions always gnawing at the edges. In the meantime, you can try to decipher my mural; that might be fun for you. But if we both die, the end, and the world becomes Coryphyfishyflakes's blighted play house and everything is awful. So, anyway, why don't you harden your heart or something? Because pain makes you stronger. I'm all about duty as long as it is not warden-flavored duty."
Inquisitor: Good plan. [stonefist incoming!]

If it turns out the Forgotten Ones= the Forbidden Ones, I will be extremely disappointed. After all, Gaxxkang, Xebenkek, and Imshael are all defeated fairly easily.

It always seemed like he was a bit more powerful than your standard fear demon. Maybe not a Forbidden One, but something beyond. But maybe that's just because fear is such an all encompassing emotion, and that particular one has just been feeding like crazy.

He's a very powerful demon, but still a demon.
Gaxkang, Xebenkeck, and Imshael were all Forbidden Ones. The only one left is The Formless One, and I expect we'll meet them in DA4.
