I once had an Elven Rogue in a D&D campaign who was cursed with a magical fake beard after he ticked off a Dwarven nobleman. Every time he attempted to rip the beard off it just came back in a different color and style.

That's fabulous, amazing. Props to your dm

I thought that said Loghain flair for a second

Loghain flair would be horrifying, methinks.

WORK IT, MACTIR.

Now, sorry if this diverts from the current conversation, but I had a burst of midnight madness and had to finish that Solafied When Will My Life Begin parody.

Thinking about Solas sleeping around the Keep has become one of my weirdest mental past-times this week. I can imagine he doesn't feel right in the barracks, and he uses his own quarters for research (ie. looking over his notes, quizzing Cole, and examining the Inquisitor's hand over and over and over again). Like some nights he sleeps curled up in front of a fireplace, sometimes he finds an embrasure that he barely fits in, but offers the best view and a nice breeze. It becomes Cole's favorite game to find him, then to lead the Inquisitor to him in the morning.

This is fabulous, and made my night.

I think it would be awesome and entertaining if we found our elf napping in various places.

I'm slowly making my way through another Origins play through, just got past the Urn of Sacred Ashes with just the Dalish quest line and Landsmeet left. I might catch hell for this, but I actually like the combat in DA2 better than Origins.

Same. I'm actually exactly where you are, just finished the Urn of Sacred Ashes  ^_^ I prefer the combat in DA:O almost only because of tactical cam... so you can imagine how exited I was to see it return.

Haha wow, that's brilliant! Awh, Solas looks so cute when he sleeps, this definitely has to happen in the game or I'm going to be really disappointed :P

What are you guys' headcanons by the way? I'm thinking of making a second one or switching altogether to a city elf, I always went with the human noble so I could marry Alistair and be queen, but after a while I feel like I want a different ending/worldstate since I don't think that I'll be using one standard save every time I'm going to play through DA:I anyway (which is probably like a dozen times or more..) And ever since I played through the city elf origins it really piqued my interest. And I'm getting a bit tired of humans honestly..

Yep, like the origin of your warden and the choices you made in the game. Not sure how to word it otherwise so sorry and oops if it was a bit confusing  :P

Origins --

Dalish (archer) rogue, male, romanced Zevran. Alistair did the DR and we both survived. Alistair is king, alone.

DA2 --

Mage, male, romanced Anders. Carver is a grey warden. Sided with the mages and ran away with Anders.

Spoiler

AHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

that was great!!! XD

uhm...I have three headcan (complete) for now.

Female City Elf, romanced Alistair, put Anora on the thone, kept Alistair a Warden. Friend with everyone in the party, let Alistair kill Loghain, accepted DR.

Male Castless Dwarf, romanced Morrigan, made an unhardened Alistair on the throne marry to Anora, killed Loghain, reunited with Morrigan and their GC.

Female Mage Elf, she dumped Leliana for Zevran. put hardened Alistair on the throne with Anora, saved Loghain, accepted the DR. (yep, I'm too curious about the GC)

I still have two unfinished characters: Female Dalish Elf, romance Ser Gilmore (mod), and Male Mage Elf romance Zevran.

for the Hawke I had only one corrupted finished save (thanks, MotA <_<)

Rogue female Hawke romance Andres, and the unfinished Mage female Hawke romance Fenris. I'll create some variant on the keep, but I really can't play another time DA2 (two is enough)

Oh, extra choices.  :P

Saved Connor, Destroyed the Anvil, Behlen King, Werewolves cured -- Bonus, spared The Architect in Awakening

Man, DA:O had so many more choices in it than DA2. I never realized before. That's kind of a downer.

I noticed that when I was writing mine  I like DA2 though.

Wonder how much I can screw up in DA:I...

yeah, and is quite evident when you play for the second time DA2.  -_-

I didn't write all the coices I've made different from every run...just the ending now that I look  (I'm a sleepy idiot)

I didn't dislike DA2, by any means, but I hope DA:I's choice count is closer to DA:O's, if not bigger. I feel like it probably will be, because it seems bigger, generally.

With regard to Solas sleeping in the Keep, I seem to recall reading somewhere about how the Dalish use a sort of hammock? (Or it could be me getting mixed up with somewhere else).    Still it might be a good way for him to cope with sleeping in a strange environment.     Mind you, if he has spent a lot of his time sleeping and meditating in ruins I'd have thought he'd be used to stone floors.

It would make sense to sleep in a hammok in wet environments, so yeah I can see it.

Thanks guys for posting your choices! I'm definitely going to try and play through origins and DA2 again while waiting for october, you gave me some pretty neat ideas to keep me busy for the next like 2 and a half months, that sounds like such a long time and such a short while at the same time..

Yeah, I think that Solas would have gotten used to sleeping just about anywhere, maybe he just has a blanket in his backpack for that purpose only but I can see him sleeping perfectly fine against stone pillars or cold floors without any problem. (a man after my own heart honestly, I LOVE sleeping :P)
