Not sure if these were posted before, but I just saw these Woodland Realm inspired attire designs on Tumblr and I'm so in love with them! Definitely would've loved to see Lavellan wear these to Halamshiral. TT__TT

I'm not into shoes and the heels are not to my taste but apart from that I really like the shoes. The rest is rather unpractical. Considering my clumsiness I would get caught in a Terror's claws, thudding head first onto the next best stone as soon as it dives underground, probably pulling my companions down with me in a process.

Someone mentioned this on the thread a while ago, at that possibility, everyone got sad and no one said anything about it again, it's possible...like anything else.
*raises hand*
That... may have been me?
I know I said something about this a while back, but that may have been the second time it was mentioned. I don't know.

Not to burst the happy bubble but that could be like 'oh hey, in game access to the CC with some extra armor and hair options' type of DLC. I don't even care if Solas DLC comes out...though I would prefer it. Frankly there are few really interesting story things they could do and I'd be down for more hangs with the Inquisition crew.
I WANT THIS THOUGH.
So bad. It'll keep me entertained enough to wait for Solas!!

You ever lay in bed and try to decide if you want to get up for a midnight snack or if you just want to sleep because getting up would require effort but a pop tart sounds pretty ****** awesome but so does not getting up?
Ok not scary at all because I was thinking about this 5sec ago and then I read your post. I opted for I'm too lazy to move. lmao
I guess great minds think alike.

Well, I finally finished my Solas romance playthrough after avoiding the ending for quite a few days (by playing my Abelas Lavellan playthrough, instead!) I didn't know Solas would say what he says as his sort of 'good-bye' to Lavellan, that whole, "Whatever happens, know that what we had was real," and he looks like he's going to cry.
Lavellan just looks at him like, "Whatever," which I thought was oddly hilarious. Then, he watches her for a moment from behind and then leaves as if he never existed. Yeah, it was pretty sad, but I was relieved that he acknowledged his feelings for her one last time before he knew he would be leaving for good, since he was sort of acting like we never had a 'thing' going on towards the end there (I hate that from real life experience. URGH).
The other thing I finally payed attention to was what Cole says after the party ends. I guess he's repeating what Solas says to him and then he is compelled to use his own powers to make himself forget about Solas' future plans, or something, so he won't spill the beans to the other companions. What I didn't ever take notice of before was that Solas says he's embarking on a journey from which he will be alone forever from that point on. It made me sad all over again because I didn't know his plans were going to mean he intends to never see Lavellan ever again. Not only that, but he's going to be alone forever??? Why?!
Even so, well-done Patrick Weekes and Bioware for writing this amazing romance! It would have been nice to get to know Solas a bit better, but they did an amazing job despite the fact that he really couldn't be so forthcoming about himself like most of the other companions could. I'm sad, but I know it's only a story, so it's okay. ![]()

I got the impression that she was going to be made Tranquil soon if she'd stayed in the Circle, and she had come to accept it only to find herself cast adrift. I thought she was a good representation of what happens to people who are on the margins.I'm probably imprinting myself onto her more than I should but she's definitely carrying enough baggage for it, which getting kicked out of your home will do, and she doesn't seem to have a healthy level of self-esteem as shown by her lack of confidence in her ability as a mage. Who knows, we only get a few minutes of dialogue out of this character, probably not a good place to do armchair psychology.
Honestly my saving grace for Cassandra will always be the idea that she found this sad mage somewhere and, seemingly out of character, said "hey, you want a job?".

Yes, tbh I was a bit disappointed at how Lavellan speaks to him at the end. I mean she can see he's all sad and stuff, and she says "I'm sorry Solas, I know you wanted the orb saved" but they didn't differentiate between a friendly quizzy and a romanced quizzy so the tone of the voice looks a tiny bit too friendly for me.. like, that's the guy you love, you see him so distressed, she should have said smth different imho (but I understand that it was more convenient to have only 1 sentence recorded).. And then he says that what they had was real, and again she's like.. Nada, silence, doesn't even say a thing, she just looks at him, and that makes no sense to me a bit.. she should have atleast attempted to answer something back..
And then Cass just has to put her butt in the middle of them... When she's like "Inquisitor, are you alright?" I just want to scream "NOT NOW, CASSANDRA!
". I sort of blame all the party members, in my head they distracted Lavellan and gave Solas those few seconds he needed to "bail".
(Colonel don't kill me

As for the Cole thing.. I thought it was Solas who makes Cole forget, not Cole making himself forget about Solas?

Funny, I was always more pissed at Solas. Like, okay, the orb is broken but hey the woman you claim to love just survived the big fight and is probably dripping in the assorted blood of her enemies as well as her own. A little care is in order, perhaps?
I mean, yeah, I get that the orb is important but Lavellan doesn't know how important it is for Solas.

That's how she feels, anyway.
Also, why the Seahawks would throw that ball is beyond anyone ever. You only have the best running back in the country. If people hate on them, they deserve it. And I hate smug ass Tom Brady so I'm not partial to the Pats.
I like the Browns though so my football opinions are invalid by default.

That same guy kissed her and broke up with her right away, avoiding any explanations and later talking to her like she was just anybody. If I were Lavellan he should have been happy not to accidentally lose an arm to my sword.

Yeah, I imagined her heart broke in a thousand pieces in that moment. There's adrenalin rushing through her veins and for once, that's *it*. There is no other pressing matter of grave concern that's hurrying her along. There is no army to be defeated, no enemy to be slain, no mystery to unravel and no side to win over. For once she is free. For a split second, she can forget every pain and heartache that it took to get here. And then she sees him, the one who makes her heart jump a little each time she sees him and he...doesn't even care. Doesn't even really look at her, but just stares at the broken pieces of an orb that just moments before could have been used to kill her.
And it's like she lost that final battle. And she doesn't even know why.

I thought I'd just pop in to add a few reflections after finishing my male Lavellan play through. It gave me a totally different perspective to when I was in a romance with Solas. In particular our talk after the Arbor Wilds.
Of course romanced Lavellan goes off into the Fade with him, has all the discussion about Vallaslin and then the abrupt break up. When I went back to him he seemed to be suggesting he might still explain everything after that final battle, which is why I felt so let down and betrayed when he didn't, as though he was punishing me for the loss of the orb (how was I to know if I used it to close the rift it would break it?). I also said how sorry I was he had lost it because I knew how much it meant to him.
Now in the conversation with my male Lavellan you definitely get the hint that he is saying goodbye back at Skyhold. In fact my character even queries that he is leaving. When the orb shatters, since he was not a mage, I took the slightly stupid dialogue option of "can't we stick it back together again?". After Solas departs with the "whatever happens I will always respect you", and Lelianna comes to talk to me about him, I respond that something is wrong, like I know there is more to it than just losing the orb. I'm pretty sure that didn't happen with my romanced Lavellan but I have to admit I wasn't paying much attention after he went off because I was so gobsmacked and depressed.
The other thing I did differently was used my elf dialogue option instead of looking to Solas to do the talking to Abelas. When he turned around and said to me most emphatically "You are not of my People", that really cut deep. Considering I was wearing vallaslin dedicated to Mythal, I really didn't need either Solas or Corypheus to make me feel stupid about having them. Pity Solas couldn't have given me the option to remove them. Still I think it is pretty clear that the "People" who Solas thinks still need him are definitely not the modern day elves, whether Dalish or City. I also think that the next big thing will be the return of the old gods of the elves and that will be really bad. I didn't drink from the well but I have read the codex for those writings that you can't otherwise decipher, plus the descriptions in the temple that you could, and I don't think it bodes well.

There should have been an upset lavellan option so you could say:

Yeah, would be fine by me. If it were me though, I would not have said anything at all and turned away. Assuming he still had that tongue by that time, of course. Or his head.
But that's really just budged reasons, I assume, that you get the same reaction from every inquisitor.

You talking about the dialogue at skyhold just before corypheus dies, then right after he's killed when the orb is destroyed? If so, it's kind of funny that he doesn't hint he's leaving at all for romanced lavellans. I thought people were just overreacting or something, saying he leaves without a hint. LOL
