But it is worth noting that the Divine actually touches it before the Inquisitor does when she knocks it from Corypheus's hands. So either it is charged the second it flies through the air, the half touch doesn't count, or there really was something additional going on.
That's a great point! Also, if the red energy wrapped around the Divine was supposed to 'keep the sacrifice still', then the Gray Wardens suck at magic.
Also, I don't think Cornflakes knew that the mark could/would become permanent. He does try to remove it from you and it doesn't work and then he's annoyed because it's permanently attached to you so now he has to find a new way into the Fade. He also seems to think he can't create another Anchor. I know he said the ritual to create it took awhile but I mean, he's immortal right? And it couldn't have taken all THAT long to create the Anchor because we know he's had the orb less than 10 years.
The term 'unlock' bothers me. Solas says it multiple times concerning the orb. Is it possible the Anchor is one-of-a-kind and existed long ago? Maybe Solas or Mythal sealed it away in the orb for safekeeping until Solas could complete his mission. Perhaps Cory's years long plan was just to open the orb so he could obtain the Anchor?
The other thing that really bothers me: at Adamant, the Inquisitor is able to pull through the entire party, plus Hawke and a gray warden physically into the Fade. Isn't that what Cory wants? Seems like he would have been better off kidnapping Quizzy and forcing them to perform that little trick again instead of scouring Thedas for clues to the Well of Sorrows and the eluvian.
