At least we know Solas would grow up one day.No, I would imagine them both as teens... Rebels without a cause, Bonny and Clyde... Little Red Jenny and the Bad Wolf...
A lot of that is control schemes anyway. Forcing people to dance to your tune. Hence why indifference gets characterized as "hate."People can do whatever they want, just don't think that I'll care, or that I have to.

XDDDD
What's a Zhe?
Gender neutral term in place of She and He.

Alright, I'll stop. I appreciate that Bioware took story risks with the characters. With Vivienne and Sera, the risks didn't pay off for me, but I'm glad others can get somewhere with them.
Vivienne is my home grrrl, don't hate because she's fabulous, darling.

But if it was Solas in his youth and Sera as she is now, they would probably fight rather than working together. Although both appeared to be rebellious without a cause, what Sera truly wants is acceptance. She has extremely low self-esteem and would rather to be hated than being considered as nothing and being rejected (dismissed) by others. On the other hand, Solas was (still is) dripping with pride, he saw himself as being better than everyone and would want to rub that into others' faces

See, this is what I mean. How am I supposed to know all of this? You wouldn't even if unless you frequented places like Tumblr or Reddit or whatever.

If it makes you feel any better you could never dislike Sera or Vivienne as much as I dislike Merrill.

You do exactly what you did: ask.

Better than Isabella tho as a romance... Isabella was gross...
They were very amusing together though. Loved their sister relationship. Took them around with Aveline in my party a lot. Best party setup in the game if you ask me.

That would require one to care in the first place. I for one don't.

Yes.
I'm not saying they shouldn't have whatever terms they want, but I just wish they were simplified and universal so I don't accidentally offend anyone by not knowing what a cis is.
But I guess life isn't simplified and universal, so it hardly matters, in the end. I have access to wikipedia, after all.
Reposting this for some who do not want to go backwards with the pages
I made it last night. I hope you like it.

Yep. But that would be good stuff...

You're not going to win with Tumblr, Ave. some people just thrive off of being perpetually offended. Just try to be as respectful as possible if you want to participate in a community and do what you did...ask.

It was merely an off-the-cuff suggestion. But yes, Solas would be the one looking to the future at the end...
Argh.. I really can't stand Sera. As some of you people said, to me she is just stupid. Exactly, a woman with the brain of a bratty 12 yo child, who doesn't want to grow up and doesn't accept views different from hers. To her everyone who doesn't think like her has to be an idiot.. Her organization has no goal, she is just like a kid who likes to play trickson adults (nobles in this case).. and what I hate the most is that even when faced with the truth, she is quick to dismiss it, of course it cannot be true and it's all bullshit. And I find her rude.. I don't mind some swearing but god, that mouth..
Sometimes I really feel like hitting her in the head with a cleave. If I recruit it it's only cause it amuses me to see how stupid she is when she says "Coryphenus" :/
My god, I prefer Vivienne 10 times more! She might have harsh views on some subjects, but at least she has manners and has always been nice to all my quizzies.
Sorry Sera fans xD

And that scene where she's changing the quizzy's furniture... hilarious... I never got that scene, but I can see why people wouldn't like her then. How you get her to hate you enough to be so passive aggressive, I have no idea, but seeing that on youtube just made me like her even more.
My only gripe with Vivienne is that like Sera, I think her being in the inquisition is kind of forced. I don't even know what she does there. She doesn't give you any wartable operations either. Beyond being a really really boss mage, she's just kinda there, which is why I don't use her much.

I've never gotten that scene from Viv, my inquisitors have always been friendly with her, but I saw it on youtube and her sitting on her couch fanning herself being the most. passive. aggressive. person. ever. was the best.

All of the Truth or Dare missions are Viv's.
And I always get the furniture scene as soon as Skyhold gets the first rebuild. I consider it a bad conversation with Viv if I don't get at least two greatly disapproves.
And Viv's purpose is to kill dragons.

Oh that rumor about justinia being alive that you can deal with? Ehhh...
Meh. That wasn't much of an issue if you ask me. Hell, I could've guessed people were saying that tbh.

There's an entire series of missions and some of them branch. There's rumours, intrigue and red lyrium smuggling. Without them I think that Viv probably would've quit the Inquisition. I need something to get my approval up with her.

Ah, that furniture scene. I got that with my Lavellan and tbh I found it funny. xD
I'm with you regarding Vivienne. In the grand scheme of things, I don't even know why she's there. :/ Maybe to provide a different view on the whole mage thing but other than that... meh. She was practically my benchwarmer, which is a pity because I really wanted to like her. ![]()

The problem with Viv is that you have Solas as the Fade expert for the Inquisition and Dorian is tied to a main story mission (either In Hushed Whispers or In Your Heart Shall Burn) so both of them feel like they should be there. Viv is just some random mage you met at a party. If Morrigan hadn't been in the game and Viv had been able to use her position at court then things may have been different.
