Whether she's sympathizing with PW from the standpoint of someone who wrote romance plots in previous games and is dealing with a character who was a LI in a previous Dragon Age game, or from the standpoint of someone who is currently writing a romance plot remains to be seen.
Ummm.... I really don't see where this 'each write writes one romance' thing is coming from? DaGaider wrote two (even though he did pick one up). In ME3, Patrick Weekes wrote Jack, Tali, Kasumi, Mordin, and the Tuchanka and Rannoch arcs... I'm sure he could handle writing two romances
Edit: And I like to think that PW tweet where he's going on about the complications of writing romance stuff comes out of the fact that he got stuck with writing two
It's mainly because if Hepler was still around, she would have been writing Cassandra (in fact she apparently already had finished writing her and her romance, and Gaider had to rewrite her, if what I read is correct) which would have meant Gaider would have had only Dorian.
As of right now:

Sylvia Feketekuty - Josephine
Patrick Weekes - Iron Bull
Brianne Battye - Cullen
if going by that logic, Vivienne could be Mary Kirby's romance, and Sheryl Chee could be writing Blackwall's romance. Sheryl's also written a LI in both DA:O and DA2, so who knows.
Anyways, it's basically looking into things A LOT, and honestly at the moment it doesn't mean anything as there really isn't enough evidence to support the theory, but what's where people are coming from that are worried about the "one romance per writer" thing. I'm not all that worried about it, but it does sit in the back of my mind, I admit.
I'll stick around after Solas's announcement, though maybe not as much. As far as game spoilers go, I'm not one to really mind them. I highly doubt they'll spoil incredibly important plot twists or decisions in their marketing anyways, so I'm not too worried. When I was following ME3, a problem with spoilers didn't come up until there was an incident where pretty much the entire game was leaked. Hopefully that doesn't happen with DAI because I'm weak-willed and would probably look
But yeah, I don't want to know serious character or story spoilers or anything like that but honestly, romance options are not the most spoilery things so I wish they'd just tell us already. Especially when most of them have already been revealed. It just seems like pointless stalling now and breeding frustration rather than excitement.
It is pointless stalling I just want to know who the last 2 LI's are and that's it so I can move on. I'm to the point where I don't care if Solas is an LI or not I just want to know...does that even make sense?

I don't have the link to it, but if it helps I'm almost certain he was apparently referring to Samantha Traynor at the time, who he wrote, rather than any of his DAI characters.
Those Patrick and Sheryl tweets...Patrick's makes me hopeful, Sheryl's makes me nervous. Maker, this game is already such an emotional rollercoaster and it's not even out yet!
Ugh I just want off this roller-coaster ride. We've been up and down WAY too many times for my liking. We were confident in Solas's chances and then we weren't. Then we got his voice actor reveal and that made us super hopeful again. Then Bull's non-gated announcement came up and our hopes plummeted. Then we were up again and down again as different theories about who wrote what and year-old tweets came about. Now I feel on the down slope again.
This is just getting crazy! And the laser-focus on it on the forums is getting grating for many, I imagine, but it'll keep up until they just reveal the last two. Sheesh, I'm trying to think of any possible benefits of keeping this a secret now

Exactly. I'm starting to feel rather apathetic about the whole thing, and that isn't a good feeling 
Fingers crossed that at least one of them will be announced at that panel at SDCC. (Preferably both, pleaseeee)

What it really speaks to is the need for scheduling. If information were to come steadily, with the same amount of time between each drop, then we avoid these lows we're experiencing.
If they want to hold something back, they should hold back who is race gated. At least that way people will know they will have a chance with the character they're interested in eventually.
Edit: It also puts everyone in the same boat. Since it seems kind of crap to me that straight Cass and Cullen fans have had an almost dead certain option for months.
Just remember: whoever the last romances are, they will be awesome and we'll love them! Stay positive! *hugs everyone in the thread*

I agree with you there. All I want to know is who I can romance. I'm hoping that info is released during the week this week, what with the convention... then I can go on my blackout and enjoy doing other things.
I've already mostly abandoned the forum (and this thread, sorry folks) due to lack of new info, and fear I'll end up finding out stuff I don't want to go into the game knowing. I think the romances are such a small thing, overall, that it's not really that spoilery to know. But plot events... NOOOOOOoooooo.
I'll put out the offer that anyone who is going on media blackout or wants to do so before the final LIs are revealed, I don't mind PMing you the LI info and nothing more. Just drop me a line so I remember. LOL

I dug them all up once before, but I haven't a clue how far back in my posting history I'd have to go to find them again. However, I remember they were in March of this year, so if you go to his Twitter feed and search for "tweets and replies" and scroll down to around March 10-20, you will find them all.

They're supposed to be moving on from character information soon, so I expect it wont be too long before they push anything they've got left relating to character info, including the LIs. I honestly don't believe it's going to be that much longer. I think it's very likely it could be at the con. They've announced several others at conventions. They started out with Cassandra and Cullen at a convention, maybe they'll round it off with the last pair. We can hope.
