I've been jokingly saying that from Solas' comment
Solas: "**** whatever I had in mind. ****** Gryphons!"

I did remember seeing that when I played a Trevelyan in Skyhold, but don't remember seeing it as a Flavellan. Not sure if this is caused by the race or the romance.
I heard that after you romanced Solas there is is a change (bug?) in his dialog options. For example if you get your specialties after you did his personal quest he doesn't comment on your specialties. Maybe this is the same problem?
There's a bug with Varric and his Inquisiton dialouge too. It only triggers when he's at low approval, not friendly. Maybe Solas has the same problem? Varric's got fixed in the latest patch, maybe Solas' will be fixed soon too? I'm currently doing an Adaar run and my choices aren't going to annoy him too much. I'll keep an eye out for the dialouge when I'm at Skyhold.

He says something about all of the mage specializations. So long as you finish your specialization quest before finishing All New then you'll get the dialogue. At least, that's how it worked for me (on PS4).

I suppose I would say my Lavellan considers him something of a mentor...although I probably would skew it more to a Merlin and Nimue type of relationship. Which is to say, Solas may very well come to regret assisting in making Lavellan as capable as she is. Particularly if they come into conflict.
Mine too. She's a pretty gentle person by nature, but she's damn savvy by the end of the game, and she would most definitely oppose Solas if she felt what he was doing was wrong. I wouldn't say I want Solas to be a full-on antagonist, but the chance to see the Dread Wolf square off against my Lavellan would almost make the heartache worth it.

Well... he is a rift mage himself, so......
I do so wish we'd had the option of telling him that we chose the specialization because of him when he asks.
I mean, it wasn't the entire reason, but it did factor in. Your Trainer also had a lot to do with it. 
Rift mage is my favourite specialization ever. It's so much fun. And story-relevant. My Lavellan wanted to learn as much about the Anchor as possible. I loved how it gave you extra dialogue during Solas's personal quest.
You know, now that I think about it, it's a dead giveaway that the Anchor's power manifests as rift magic, the exact same magic that Solas can wield.

Lol I figured that much. Morrigan apparently tells an Elven Warden who romances her how Garahel was known for his prowess with women.
On the spoilered, that's pretty cool though. I might actually read this book now, along with the several others I keep meaning to get around to. Information revealed in this book probably ties into a future game the way The Masked Empire tied into Inquisition (especially Mihris, Michal and Imshael and Briala, Celene and Gaspard), so I'm not locked out of the loop again.

I could offer another tremendously subtle approach at spamming the love. You know how people in this thread like to theorize and talk lore? You could lead a discussion about the Blight and what might be THE CURE for it. If well done you can stretch this out over a few posts.
I am just going to shoot off the top of my head: Woodkid, Explosions in the Sky, Beirut, God is an Astronaut, Crystal Castles (is not for everyone), Eisley, Grimes, The xx...I just kinda took hipster indie music and went with it. Hope it helps.
