I don't know if it's beard prejudice or not, but I don't think I've ever been a fan of an LI with a beard. Then again, that might just be the dearth of bearded LIs from Bioware. No, wait. There's Carth. But I didn't like Carth. And there's Bishop. ...But I didn't like Bishop. And there's Jacob, but... Huh. Maybe I am prejudiced against beards.
