Lemme know if the damage is still decent on a sword and shield reaver.  I'm probably going to respec Bull out of two-handed weapons when I replay Lavellan.  It's fine with my Adaar since he can tank as KE, but Bull's too squishy to be a primary tank on two-handers.  Or I'm just bad at building him defensively; he's great as pure damage with another tank.

No you're right, a tank he is not unless you go full S and S with him. But you can make him survive better. Give him bulls charge, make that his fav ability, give him warcry, and unbound, and he'll be okay. Might not need unbound, but it's safer than warcry. All warriors benefit from those, especially bull charge.

 

Champions can skip some though if you want.

I've had problems triggering banter.  So on one hand I wanna emulate Ashitaka and just let the red hart take me everywhere, but on the other hand I wanna at least have some chance of hearing more banters.  I suppose the more bears, the more crafting mats.  Better than letting her take her anger out on Varric.

Questions would be if you play friendly fire and if you direct him or let him just roll on his own. But it's usually safer on the defense side not to let a two-handed warrior run alone, so give him a shield maybe.

I gave up trying to make banter happen more often. For me it's very hit or miss. One minute Solas won't shut his trap and I'm standing around because I'm just listening, and the next they're as quiet as the god of silence.

I took Dorian/Solas with me, the first time I did the temple. It was pretty fun.

Oh, I did the ball today and I somehow glitched It so my character didn't wear the Formal Uniform? Got to wear my Dalish keeper armor the whole way through, I was pleased.

I really enjoyed Solas/Dorian/Vivienne for the Temple. Dorian and Solas have all these excellent insights on the Tevinter and Elven bits, but then Vivienne is just snarking with Morrigan left and right. Each of them have a little something at the Well, too.
