Wait, what?

I missed that.

WHAT?

*loads up The Last Court*

Do you think if we use enough dragon blood in the ritual, we'll get a Tirashan/Forgotten Ones/Fen'harel DLC?

Also I would like to make it very clear that the earlier punning digression was all Oxie's fault, and I was ushering a young Uruk into Warchiefdom in Shadows of Mordor when the event took place. So n'yah. :P

Oh my dear house lizards, your sacrifice will be remembered.

Friends, I just went through this race-specific dialogue with Keiran, and instead my hc humorous reply I chose first option. And he answered "I don't know why your people want to look like that". I have no idea, if this has been discussed earlier, but I find Keiran's reply interesting, since it implies, that elves could change their looks once.

I got this too, but I didn't think too much about it... We've been theorizing that maybe the Elven gods were spirits of a sort. Maybe that's true for all elves.

Edit: This probably also has something to do with Solas's saying elves can grow beards

Aside from the songs and the epic parallels, I also headcanon that Solas and Lavellan dance like Moses and Tzipporah occassionaly

I was just listening to "Through Heaven's Eyes" and imagining them dancing together. That was so d'aww. I imagine he'd be reluctant at first, only to surprise everyone with his dancing skill moments later

Solas wakes up and discovers he has a cult. Probably not the best way to start off the century.

Part of my problem with the Forgotten One lore was that it was so detached from the main story. We have a lot of hints about the elven gods, but very little for the Forgotten Ones. I'm sure it is just a minor mention in the game, but I'm glad they haven't actually been forgotten. If there's some proof that they are still around, or at least, weren't rolled into the Forbidden Ones, then it becomes a lot easier to speculate what their involvement with everything might be.

Still very possible! It just adds in another theory to the mix.

It just goes to show, you never know when those little footnote things are going to come back 'round.    That little codex mention of some elves still worshipping the Forgotten Ones may turn out to be a lot more significant.  The Tirashan elves are now up there with Kal'Sharok in the "wtf is going on over there" department.  Blighted dwarves and maybe elves (red vallaslin, hm?)  Again with the Blight...  and Forgotten Ones.

Yeesh, I really hope that's just ink and not red lyrium tattooed onto their faces though. And I thought Fenris had it bad.

Ooooh. Red lyrium vallaslin would be extremely cool. And creepy.

Could be, though the color is awfully suspicious.

Annnd, now I'm worried about Fenris getting too close to this stuff.

Where would they get it though?

What if... what if Tirashan elves have links to Kal-Sharok?

Probably not directly linked, but they have that same mysterious and dark vibe.

Truthfully, I'm more excited to see what's out there than finding Solas...maybe right now. I mean don't get me wrong, Solas is great and I have questions, but -- to borrow your wonderful phrase -- I just love love dealing with "wtf is going on over there".  I'm also imagining Dorian in a situation of utter weirdness.  He'd be so delightful.

It feels like there's another part of me that has the immense thirst to know what's going on over there. The finding Solas part feels seperate but it's need is just as strong...does that make sense? Or have I completely lost it?

Early May.

Do you have the first one?  Is it interesting?  I got the concept art book because I am hopelessly weak, but I was thinking bout WoT to nerd out overall Thedas lore.

May.  Too far away. :(

...But I wonder if that means we might see DLC before then...

We do know that dwarves took in elves after the fall of Arlathan...

That thaig was destroyed by Kal'Sharok (and way over in Ferelden), so probably not...  Still, that was old Cadash thaig.  Cadash.

Wouldn't it be wild if there really was a connection there, with the Cadash Inquisitor and all?  But it seems unlikely.  I did think that there might be something related to Kal'Sharok in DA:I, because of the Cadash Quizzy.  There's still the DLC though...

We do know that dwarves took in elves after the fall of Arlathan...

And oh hey look at this:

In a codex entry it is revealed that Kal-Sharok, and not the Tevinter Imperium, destroyed Cadash Thaig when it was discovered that the dwarves of the thaig sheltered elves who fled from Tevinter after the destruction of Arlathan. This was done in order to hide that dwarves aided the elves in order to protect the relationship of the dwarven empire with the Imperium. The Orzammar Shaperate was, and perhaps still is, torn on whether to enter this terrible deed into the Memories.

http://dragonage.wik...wiki/Kal-Sharok

What if the reason Kal Sharok destroyed those Arlathan elves wasn't because they wanted to protect their ties to the Imperium, but because they were already allied to the elves worshiping the Forgotten Ones?

I want Dorian to take me to Tevinter and give me a tour.
