I always wondered if the writers casually read the theories here and come across one...
"****....they figured it out...."
Or maybe "Hey, read this... this one it pretty good, that could do. Should we try it next, what do you think?

Oh my god Solas stop going west
lmao, at this point, I actually prefer the Forgotten Ones over Andruil. How DA:I has changed me
Took me a moment, then I may have had a moment of evil laughter.
This thread is awesome today.
On a slightly related note: I'm not a subscriber to the Sera=Andruil theory, but sometimes I have little weirded out moments when I can see where things could potentially *click*. I may have just had one of those.

Gaider mentioned, that they, in fact, do read them. And that some of us scratched something, but not entirely.

Hmm. Maybe to symbolize something? How she came back from the Void and forgot the hoe to get there? "Blinded" in some way. You know those elves and their symbolism.
That reminds me of Kieran saying that being cut off from the Fade is like being blind.
Based on how she's been depicted, I feel like we're going to end up pitying her. Her codex entries make me feel sorry for her more than fear/loathe her. There has been exactly one person that I've hated in all of DA and that was the entire country of Orlais. She HAS to be better.
Also, he does need to stop. Or at least take an army with him because it sounds like a mess out there. HE CAN BORROW MINE.
I think I'm going to end up sympathizing with her too. We've only ever had very biased accounts of her after all, from the Dalish and then from Solas and Mythal's Temple. And really, so long as we don't see another Arl Howe, I doubt I'll be able to hate her.
I'm still hoping for a Solas + Abelas teamup, especially since he now carries Mythal's essence ![]()
Holy ****. I totally forgot about TLC.
I'm going to go sleep on this now.

Oh great. Now we know why we always have to wait half a lifetime for the next game to come out. ![]()
Btw, where is madrar? I haven't seen her for a while but she really should be here for this.
And this Sera = Andruil, where does that come from? What is the evidence, other than her being an elf with arrows?
Further scouring through the Wiki has reminded me that the Marquise of Serault claims Archon Hessarian as one of their ancestors.
Could this have something to do with Masked Andraste?

Well, yes... I had one of those too, when I wrote up above what Kieran said. He actually says that being cut off from magic is like being blind. That does sound like Sera. I still don't buy the theory, but there's something with her.
It's pretty fun. I enjoyed playing it and trying to decide what choices were best. The first time is pretty hard, but once you get the hang of it it's great.
Anyone else sacrifice Serault's wealth just to bed the Bard?
All my wealth went on trying to seduce the Elgeant Abbess instead.

That's possible? Do we have other options than the bard? I'm not much fond of him but... well, he's there.
So if we're theorizing that maybe Andruil has a temple like Mythals- which Morrigan calls her "greatest sanctum", maybe each of the Pantheon has a temple, located at various points around the world.
It'd be interesting if Skyhold was once where Fen'harel's temple stood, until angry mobs of elves tore it down in anger at his locking away the rest of the pantheon. Skyhold was built on top of it, as it were.

It started here: http://shispan.tumbl...peculation-more
They compare the design of one of Sera's tarot cards to the design of the Andruil vallaslin. There are a bunch of other things too but you can read it for yourself when you get a chance.
I don't really believe it but it's an interesting read. There may be something special about Sera but it probably isn't being a vessel for Andruil.

It's possible. A female Marquis only has the one option.

Speaking of the Forgotten Ones... did anyone post this before? If so, I apologize, I was out of the loop - and out of the forums - for quite some time. That's from "The Last Court".
Edit: so apparently, the Forgotten Ones have their own vallaslin. Which means... what? That they were legitimate members of the pantheon, once? Hm.
- random rambling -I've decided to re-watch Prince of Egypt (again), and I cannot help but associate Moses with Solas. A prince, raised into the life of luxury, hot-blooded and irresponsible, who later became a fighter for freedom of the oppressed. I can totally imagine Solas going all "Let my people go!" against the rest of the pantheon... Alright, this one is just my overactive imagination, but I can't help but see the parallels here."This was my homeAll this pain and devastationHow it tortures me insideAll the innocent who sufferFrom your stubbornness and pride..."- goes back to lurking -
Everytime I think about The Last Court I'm just reminded how much I want to visit Serault. I think The Huntress would just listen to Varric's stories about Kirkwall and say 'you think that place is bad? The docks are on fire for the third time today, there's been another assassination attempt, the Bard took a knife for me again, the peasants are in another revoult and the glassworks have been robbed for the fourth time this hour.'
Really, though. Serault is amazing. Forest Spirits, Forgotten One worshipping Dalish, whatever the Horned Knight is, the Cult of the Masked Andraste. I need to see this place. Wasn't there artwork in the art book that showed something that looked like one of the Horned Knight's creations?
That's possible? Do we have other options than the bard? I'm not much fond of him but... well, he's there.
You have to get her to be your advisor first, then you can take her as your lover. She's actually way more expensive than the bard because she requires a lot of favours and a high dignity to get to the point where you can have her as a romance.
I don't mind if you followed me here, but don't tell anyone I'm actually quite nice and reasonable.

Both have both. My Huntress romanced the Abbess and my Scholar romanced the Bard. I wanted the Silent Hunter, but our love was never to be...
Care to elaborate?
I'm not sure that I can, which is one of the reasons I don't subscribe to the theory. It's more of a nebulous "look at that" then something I can connect the dots on very well. There's some weirdness with Sera, but it's easy to explain away most of it. I would laugh so hard if she turned out of be Andruil considering Sera is *Sera*, but I really doubt it. Still, if the lore of the Forgotten Ones suddenly pop up in a big way, in an area that might have somehow conflated Andraste with Andruil's old adventures against the Forgotten Ones...if there was ever a time to give Sera some sort of reveal (or a big jog to the memory), that would be a great opportunity.
So...Dragon Age: The Wild West confirmed?
Will we find gold over there too?
Urgh.. Out of likes. I vote for Ol' Prospector appearance - aka Gus Chiggins.

Really? When I played, I couldn't get the Abbess. Was it bugged?

My Scholar pined for the Dashing Outlaw before he fell in love with the Bard.
Man that Bard... *sigh*
I would never dream of it.
Good. I have a reputation to maintain.
