The Bard did get himself stabbed multiple times saving the Marquis' life, so he's got that going for him. I loved the Bard rescue - my Marquis was all, "you're a cheating *******, but you're MY cheating *******!"

Yeah well that's.... not normal then?
I never did that lockpicking... I figured I'd just wait for the Divine to unlock it for me. Should I have broken in there, is that... good?
You find a secret passageway if you break in. Not sure if you find it if you wait for the Divine (I think not since you are stuck entertaining her at dinner...) Also if the Divine finds out you lose ALOT of favor with her, but you can always blackmail her to get it back.
I've played some Fallen London, but mostly to noodle around for the atmosphere. Last Court actually has a win condition, yes? Any advice for actually playing this little game?
Patience. ALOT of patience.
Ooh, I didn't even know it was a free thing that you play on the browser! I'll definitely give it a go tonight.
You get some really pretty windows for Skyhold in Inquisition when you beat it too, Le fantaisie Serault glass fenêtre ~ (spoken in posh Orlesian accent while twirling imaginary mustache)

You would like Sunless Sea methinks. It's not a browser game and not F2P. I think it's $15.00 on Steam. But it's in the same universe so it's similar atmosphere.
But like all these games...sit with a laptop in front of a tv. It takes a bit to get going.

Yes. Dignity. Freedom, and Prosperity aren't precious qualities of Serault to be stored and valued, but currencies to be earned and traded away at the right price.

You can win and lose? What's winning, what's losing? I didn't really figure that out... I had fun though.
Yep, much more fun to break in.
And winning's basically
is there a way to start TLC over again? I stopped playing months ago and now I'm kind of lost.

I remember there's an "I Give Up" button somewhere there, because I used it at least twice
. I think it's in the Prepare for the Divine options, if I remember it right.

There should be a "restart this game" button under one of the side tabs. I think its the one where you can spend your currency to buy other currency items...
Yeah. It was hella worthless. It was pretty much like "Thanks for the info. dump nerd." He didn't even say anything when you got there. I take that back, it wasn't worthless. I think the implication that these "artifacts of his people" can be tuned and calibrated together may be important down the line.
Today is good. Fun thread is fun.
I was kinda confused with that quest at first since I went there and brought Solas with me but he didn't say anything. It was just like normal rift-closing stuff. ![]()
Anyway about the artifacts, after activating them I got a war table mission from him called "Measuring Veil Strength" which iirc took a long time to complete. So I think that's it, although idk if there will be more on these elven artifacts in the game.
All this talk is making me want to try The Last Court, but I won't be reunited with my computer for a couple weeks. Sigh. Fallen London sounds intriguing too. I do hope we get some dlc in that area, the potential for spookiness and weird lore seems too good to waste.
Fallen London's a better browser game, though I didn't last long because eventually you're sort of forced to pay for stuff. TLC you can win without paying for anything in the meanwhile.

That's the one.

It should be in the Prepare for the Divine tab.
Reinstating the honor and glory of Serault: 15 Trophies, 15 Viands, 15 Secrets, and several bags of Royals.
Praying to Masked Andraste that the Divine and her retinue of templars doesn't notice the Lord of the Forest: Priceless.
Everytime I think about The Last Court I'm just reminded how much I want to visit Serault. I think The Huntress would just listen to Varric's stories about Kirkwall and say 'you think that place is bad? The docks are on fire for the third time today, there's been another assassination attempt, the Bard took a knife for me again, the peasants are in another revoult and the glassworks have been robbed for the fourth time this hour.'

Truer words, my friend, have never been spoken.
I loved The Last Court. It was a fun way to lead up to DAI's launch... though the number of texts I sent to my friend complaining about how hard it was to bed the Bard should probably be filed under my Shame.
And I'd have traded it all for one wild night with the Silent Hunter too. ![]()

When he showed up at my doorstep during the Divine's dinner feast, I knew it was gunna be a party.

Found it.... thank you!
I just bought Sunless Sea because I NEED the atmosphere. I was considering it...but after the conversation today, it happened...

All I remember is I was shoving orphans at the Divine left and right.
If it makes any of you guys feel EVEN better, I believe the lovely Adele, who frequents the DAI Tools forum, has found a way to swap an in-game hair mesh. We could be close to the hairstyle replacements of our dreams people!
