The TLC playthrough I didn't finish had me as Huntress with fire on the docks and strikes all the time, I wasn't entirely sure if I wasn't responsible for the breach. I think before I stopped playing people considered me a tyrant, we had decent money but the plebs were about to lynch me for not caring enough or something something.

I do know that he leaves after the final battle without explanation, however. While that annoys me, my Lavellan is going to be pissed. Not that she wasn't already when he broke up with her, but she's going to want to throttle that damn egghead.
Buuut I really want to get some closure for that part of the story. I have been praying forever for a Wolf Hunt DLC.

And he is surely the only one who could somehow heal the heart of my Darel. He is a good friend, she was there for him when Hwake died. He would be there for her while she suffer for Solas. And is the only one who seem to remember she is a person too. Sometimes, expecially the advisors, seem to forget that.

The moment I started reading Sable's post to see what the fuss was about, "Hallelujah" started playing in the coffee shop I'm sitting in.
It's like the world is conspiring to give me feels. 
I totally agree, though. I'm of a mind that Solas was a lot more affected by the romance than Lavellan was. A LOT more. It really doesn't take much to tip him over the edge. I swear, during that final romance scene I think if just one thing was done differently, things would have changed. One more kiss or one more step closer or one more prolonged look into his eyes and out comes the truth before he can stop himself.

The first time I played the game, I figured it was my Lavellan who crushed hard on him first, following him all over Haven and pestering him with questions. The more I see of the flycam stuff and the more I think about it from Solas's perspective...I'm starting to headcanon that he falls for her really early, really hard. Just his body language around her speaks volumes.
Imagine what it must be like for him. He's just f***ed up massively, again, giving the orb to Corypheus. On top of the strangeness of modern Thedas and his old grief over the elves, he has to square with this fresh guilt from the destruction of the Conclave. Then almost out nowhere comes Lavellan. This strange, bright, beautiful spirit who defies his expectations of the Dalish and actually listens to him. She might be the first person in years who sees him for who he is, his first friend in ages who isn't a spirit. How could he not fall in love with her?
...and back in the feels hellspiral after that. Wonderful.

I never actually romanced Zevran. I mean... not like really... you know. Forcing me to break up was his bad, really. But he wasn't that much into me anyway (disapproves -25). However, have you ever noticed how dull he is when you turn him down right away (which I normally wouldn't but did not notice once)? He has literally nothing to say. "Care to answer questions?" - "By all means!" - "....let's just move on then." Speaking to dog was more delightful. Or that tree near Morrigan. I got along very well with that tree.
Is it the beard? (I'd understand that.) Or is it the belly? (I'd not understand that.)

Agreed. I geniunely think if she had held on he would have just broken down. He's practically tripping over himself to put as much distance between them, because he knows. He knows that one more touch would have just crumbled the last vestiges of his resolve. Again, the cinematic director did an amazing job. So much was conveyed without words.
