Abelas knows what's up. That beautiful, beautiful man.
I just played through Temple of Mythal last night with my filthy shemlen, and she SERIOUSLY wanted to know where to get dat lipgloss. I'm pretty sure she has a Ulta coupon lying around her quarters somewhere... ![]()

Where were you this morning for the insanity of the West talk, Caddius??? We missed you. If you look at the map the anderfels(Weisshaupt) is way North West. North of Tirashan.
I was in a coma after catching up.
My Internet is on the fritz again, so it was quite the struggle.
If I was an ass, I'd point out that Hawke/The Warden actually heads north-east, since they're heading out from Adamant. (I may actually be an ass.
)
Regardless, Solas is heading west but not definitively since by foot, that's the only direction you could head from Skyhold to reach the rest of Thedas, the Warden is definitely West West, in uncharted territory, the Architect is Maker knows where, and the Tirashan is west.
While Weisshaupt is in the north-west, there's plenty of civilization surrounding it. Nordbotten in particular is a while west.
Basically, I doubt that Hawke is involved in the West shenanigans. (But something is definitely up with the West.) I blame the Weisshaupt business on the dropped plot thread in Last Flight. The First Warden didn't have the apprentices investigate the records for the truth behind the griffons going extinct, he wanted them to check for evidence of someone or something using blood magic behind the scenes to manipulate the Wardens, going back centuries. ![]()

I was just reading this and found it hysterical when they got to the "It was a perfectly normal mortal human laugh!" bit. Of course... the fact that the cackle was done in the writer's pit. Uh-oh. ![]()

But Solas absorbed Mythal's power. He might even be able to turn into a dragon now and go anywhere by means of air travel. I assume.
And Hawke is (supposedly) dead for many people. Unless they revive her (she did not really die, she killed that demon and just did not bother to show up again), she cannot be part of anything anymore.

If anything was going to surpass riding Wolf Solas Princess Mononoke style.

am I strange because one of the main reasons I want to see Solas without a shirt is because I'm perhaps just a little bit too into shoulder freckles?

Just need to photoshop Solas's head on there and you'll be set. ![]()

I want to say, "Maybe Mr. Weekes wasn't cackling about Solas," but then there's the possibility he's cackling about Cole. And nope, no thank you on that front either.
Maybe it was like this:

Actually that never really fit together in my head.
He hasn't absorbed Flemeth's power by the time he leaves. So, presumably, Flemeth was out west. Or, since they met in the Crossroads, he was heading to an Eluvian he knew about. (Does Skyhold keep the Eluvian or does Morrigan keep it?) For some reason this very simple thing has been escaping me. ![]()
I think Bioware has shown that they're willing to bring back characters some people killed off if they think it's good enough for the story. Mind, a lot more Hawkes died than Leliana's or Wynnes, I'll bet, just because it always comes up and it's always stacked against other beloved characters/mustaches.
It drives me nuts that Hawke goes to Weisshaupt. The new Warden-Commander going up there makes perfect sense.
But why Hawke? Corypheus is down south, there's enough Wardens left to explain things, her only dealings with Warden have been (possibly) her siblings, and the shebang with Corypheus. I'd have wanted her to stay, either with the Inquisition or in Kirkwall, and fight Corypheus. Others can explain what happened. *sigh*

Good point. Too bad I'm crap at photoshop. But now that you've said that, I'm sure someone will. All I have to do is wait patiently. Which should be easy, as it is but a drop in the bucket in comparison to waiting for DLC.

Hey guys. Just thought I'd let y'all know that there is a way using Cheat Engine to manually trigger banters in DA:I.
http://forum.bioware...1#entry18562081
I haven't tried it yet; I'm still pretty noobish for modding DA:I beyond monkeying around with textures and SweetFX. But this might just save my second playthrough; that banter bug is frustrating as all hell.

It's still in that room after the game is over, so I assume she left it. And am I the only one that was annoyed we couldn't talk to Solas about the eluvians? SIGH.
