Apparently they also have big things planned for Gamescom, which is in mid August. So let's stay hopeful! Both Comic Con and Gamescom are big events so we should expect good things.

I think Solas might not get an update, because he was one of the last ones to get pictures, meaning they're "up to date", for lack of a better term. Cassandra, Vivienne, Blackwall, Sera, and Morrigan, however, all need some updating.
I hope so, too. I was just looking at the pictures of Solas and I'm hoping that the scar isn't gone. I couldn't see it.
I hope all or most of the characters will get the same treatment Varric got today. Sounds like a nice way to spend our time. 
I honestly don't know what to expect from Solas regarding the talent trees, but I sort of doubt that they'll just give him the same abilities under different names. I'm thinking that they'll probably give him unique trees, but not drastically different from what the other mages in our party have.
By the way - I really want Solas' shirt. I don't even mean that in a dirty way right now. It's just that his shirt looks like the comfiest thing ever. Every time I look at a screenshot of him, one of the first things on my mind is, "I need to have this shirt."

That is what I'm hoping! I'm hoping that they show a new trailer similar to the Stand Together one, and that Solas is one of the characters in it. It would make little sense to have just the first Stand Together trailer with 4 of the companions and not the rest.

I don't think they are showing off anything new demo-wise at SDCC. It sounds like they have big plans for Gamescom though, however.

Hi Cameron! Are you showing 3 different demos at SDCC or 1 demo, 3 times? And will it be a new demo(s) or the one shown at E3?
At G&S we're showing E3 code on PC with controller (we'll show PC interface another time). At MS it's E3 code on XBox One.

Oh, I know. I meant that instead of, say, Vivienne in the party, they'd have Solas.
It would be really nice if the Gamescom demo (which I'm assuming they'll have one) has Blackwall, Solas and Cole since we haven't seen them really in action yet.
I fully support this. Would be nice to hear at least one instance of banter between any combination of those three like with Sera and Bull in the other demo, too.

So has anyone pick up their long johns/union suit for DAI? It's the uniform of every player with Solas in their party. And, it helps to keep you warm on those cold October nights warming yourself by the heat of your Xbox/PS4 or PC.
Solas, he is the only one who ismanlyelfmanly enough to be taken seriously among the companions. Dude does't give a damn, he takes off and does what he wants. He arrived at the Inquisition by choice, not cause of BS reasons, or force. And he will leave, he doesn't care, he just balls like there's no tomorrow. He goes alone into ancient ruins where fake Knife-Ears don't make it back! I approve. Solas is a real elpha.

And by the end of August will be armed with new(er) Solas media plus a final resolution on his LI status. I'm even hopeful within the next couple of weeks we'll know more. By midweek I'm sure I'll be less optimistic.

That's pretty much how it does for me, too: I catch something that bolsters my spirits and sends me up with optimism, and then I slowly begin spiraling downward until I'm convinced there's no hope. Then I catch wind of something...
