I am desperately holding on to the hope that we'll get either Inquisition DLC information or MENext information at PaxEast, and more of either or both at E3. They cancelled Shadow Realms, after all. I hope that means they're focusing more resources on ME, DA, and this mysterious new IP of theirs.

That's too bad. I was looking forward to that one.  Though I'm sort of partial to the modern, horror/fantasy setting. I loved The Secret World.  Too bad that game is an MMO, it would have been great as a single-player series.

Most of my happy musics are Gregorian chants, in either Medieval Latin or Greek...

And some of my sad songs are in Sindarin, I think, so you're not that bad.

Yes and yes.

EDIT: As for music, I've been slowly digging through the songs Lizasaurus listed off earlier.

Crystal Castles is certainly...interesting. 

Poets of the Fall always makes me...bittersweet isn't the word. Happy melancholy? Soft despair?  Gentle sad panda-face? 'The Poet and the Muse' always makes me think of the lake in the Hinterlands, for some bizarre reason. *shrug*

I don't mean that the origins of the blight is literally the use of blood magic, but that this is how it was originally spread. I do think that it may have altered it though, but beyond that, no. I'm still of the thought that it is something native to old gods.

 

Maybe, I guess it depends.  The Blight usually behaves more like an illness than a curse...  Even if it might as well be both.

 

The thing with the griffons and the blood magic is bugging me because I can almost see a connection with how it might work with how the well of sorrows and other elven geas' might work.  And the implications...but trying to fit pieces in a puzzle without a picture is so frustrating.

Listen to Jesper Kyd's Assassin's Creed soundtracks. Plenty of sad there, and exciting if you wanted. They're great imagination boosters.

I'm kinda in the camp of the Blight being some natural force in the cosmology.  Like magic entropy.  If it has some creepy consciousness of its own, I imagine it's something like the anti-Maker, it's silent, and we'll probably never really know.
