So yes. I feel like I just survived the Fade mission of origins. Well, momentarily. I hope it doesn't begin right where I left off the next time I sleep. But for now? Lunch.

I had shape-shifting puzzle nightmares after that part of DAO Ones where I turned into a rat over and over.

I had to get the fade skip mod the last time I played. That fade stuff was horrible!!

How dark and amazing would it be if there was an Therinfal Redoubt-like sequence with your LI.  God Lavellan/Solas would be so jacked up.  It would be preying on every perceived doubt they had of the relationship, doubts of the the depths of his feelings of her.  Maybe a bit of her anger at him and then her fear that he is dying or doing something terrible.

They WERE amazing....for the first 2 playthroughs maybe. After the 3rd time? Not so much.

I think I would have liked that sequence better than I did (I didn't like it at all) if it had come later in the game. I think it would have been more meaningful all around.

I do rather enjoy the Deep Roads quest, despite all the creepy stuff you find there.

 

Come to think of it, I probably enjoy that quest because of all the creepy stuff. 

 

EDIT: And on that note, I did find myself wishing we'd visit the Deep Roads again in DA:I.

Yeah! That eerie skin-crawly feeling when you hear the poem? That's when I knew I was playing a game with great narrative, not just a "zomg hero save da world" rpg.

Armor design is pretty awesome. Probably wouldn't use the gloves, but the rest looks great. I wonder if it might be future DLC attire? 

 

It looks pretty much like Elvhen god armour to me... Pity they didn't roll with my naked headcanon...

It's the second most well-done areas in DAO in my opinion, with the Brecilian being first, but since I'm terrified of cramped, dark places deep underground, and of course DA just had to throw in that broodmother sequence and that seemingly never-ending level design in as well, that quest takes a lot out of me

You know I think for me too! I hated the Fade quest even the first time but I actually enjoyed running around Orzammar and the Deep Roads. I don't know, there was enough going on there to keep me entertained every playthrough.
