Ummm... so, I wrote a thing. I humbly present it to you. It's on google drive right now because I don't really have anywhere else to put it for the moment.
I'm not sure I'm that great of a writer, but... my brain has these thoughts sometimes and they need to go somewhere.
Anyway, I thought it made for sort of a nice Valentine's Day type story if you're into that sort of thing.

So, about this Greg Ellis business: I skimmed through his latest Twitter posts and I am not so sure what happened. He wrote something offensive, took some bashing, deleted the post, and now tries to explain that is was born out of stupidity and ignorance. Does anybody know what he had written?
I read things I wish I had not learned. I am no fool, I know it is a job for those people, but I still wish they would keep up the pretense. I do not want to know that the voice actors don't play the games even once, that the writers don't know the voice actors' names, or that they are unmindful enough to just tweet stuff without considering the implications first. That's why I usually keep away from such information. Greg Ellis is not Cullen, Gareth David-Lloyd is not Solas, they are just some guys who needed money and happened to have a good voice. But I still don't want to read about that! I don't even know what my point is. I guess I am just mildly annoyed and ranting.

So, I'm currently doing All New, Faded For Her and I must say, I may have gotten a little turned on when Solas started growling, "We're not here to help you," to the idiot mage. 
What can I say? Angry!Solas is my jam...

I picked that option too the first time I played DAI, then reloaded the game to try the 'run away' option and stuck with that. 
It would have been nice to have Solas interact more with the other Inner Circle.

I think as usual Gregs loose lips on Twitter got him in trouble. I didn't read too deep but I think maybe he referred to a woman as a ho? Or something. And then I guess that angered all of the feminist Cullen fans. One or two wouldn't let it go.
You can understand how easily that would have blown up.
From what I can work out: he asked why people couldn't call women 'whores' anymore. This upset people, several of whom called him out. He then singled out one of the people who had called him out by @ing one of her tweets (if that's how it works? I'm not on twitter). His army of fans (who can be quite... intense) now had this woman's twitter name and proceeded to troll her. Things got worse. Many people (on tumblr) are now claiming that liking Cullen is problematic, despite Greg Ellis not being Cullen.
At least, that's what I was able to find out.
tl;dr: an actor makes an insensitive comment and doesn't really understand how social media works and accidently causes his fans to go after someone.
