I really think Pride demons are involved in Fen'Harel's story somehow. The eyes, the pride demon in Solasan temple, Solas's name, one of his dearest friends was named Wisdom and turned into a Pride demon. There's too many things there for them to just drop the concept and not make full use of it.

So, I'm running around the Emerald Graves now and I took the time to actually read the gravestones of the Emerald Knights.

 

This one interested me a bit. Turns out the Ralaferin Clan might be descended from a great lord of Halamshiral back when it was ruled by elves.
