I don't think Alley would hook up with anyone else, either. I the player might want her to, to take the sting out of that solo balcony ending, but she probably wouldn't.

 

That said, I think many folks really want a rebound, which... Abelas ain't a bad pick. He's got dat voice. And dem thighs.

 

I'd totally roll up a new character to romance him if he was an option, though. And if he's an option the next time we're playing another protagonist? Maaan, listen.

 

(Though honestly, I'd rather just keep playing the Inquisitor, please. I understand we can't play the Warden again because he/she wasn't voiced, but how many ridiculously powerful individuals are we going to have roaming around being all "impossible to find, except whenever an old friend sends them a letter"?)

I love that guy, and his horrible windy sounds. First time I encountered him was down in the Skyhold jail when I was exploring. I've heard of people finding him in their room after the balcony scene with Solas, too, just standing there waiting. Nobody expects the Quizquisition!

I've had him appear in the vault in the basement area underneath Josephine's room. He was there every time so I had no idea he could appear elsewhere.

Does anyone who didn't romance him have an endgame they can pull up to check?

 

I have a Cullen romance game I could pull up to see the end still but to be honest I've never noticed any kind of blip even on Solas romance games.  And I have a lot of playthroughs, most of them with a Solas romance.

I actually really want a DAI expansion. I dunno, to me the whole reveal at the end just seems too "big" for a 2-3 hour long dlc. And I don't want some other character/pc to confront Solas. I want the Inquisitor to be the one to do it.

Lord Trifles Minutiae is hysterical.  He can pop up in a variety of places though most often seems to be in the vault.  I've seen him in that little alley thing next to the stables, in the same room as Cole, in the vault and I've heard he can also pop up in the Inquisitor's room though I've never seen him there.  However, the vault only opens up if you have a certain Inquisition perk and I forget which perk that is.

 

Unfortunately I usually need inventory space and usually end up selling the completely inadequate grand prize.

Yeahh, I'd be pretty irriated If we don't get anything about Solas or a small DLC type thing, and it's just a new PC confronting Solas. 

 

Atleast with Morrigan ya' got a kid and her talking all fondly.

Honestly the Warden and Hawke aren't even ridiculously powerful.  I mean, yeah they've done some amazing things.  Well .. the Warden killed an Archdemon, which has happened before.  And Hawke ... ok, Hawke killed the Arishok?  Hmmm.  But let's face it, the Inquisitor is the only one of the protagonists that has a truly unique ability that absolutely no one else has.

I agree.

 

Something Awakening-sized at the very least, with the whole DAI crew, would be excellent. Because Cole, for one, should get to be there too. For at least part of it.

 

DA4 with the Inquisitor still as the player-character would be my dream, but I'm skeptical it would happen. I'm just not very good at the whole optimism thing.

I would definitely not be opposed to playing the Inquisitor again in another full length game.  Heck, I'd even be happy with the same companions.  But I enjoy continuity and I know a lot of people want new things so there would probably be protests against that.  However, BioWare seems to want to have different protagonists for each Dragon Age game so ... I guess we'll see.

I think having another character confront Solas would really lose out on the impact.  Solas has a personal history with the Inquisitor, whether it be romance, friend, or dislike.  It would be much less dramatic if it wasn't the Inquisitor.  And a lot less closure.

What if the Inquisitor brought along Cole, who was arguably the other person in Inquisiton he was closest too? (Kind of like how the Warden could search for Morrigan with Dog.)

 

Now I'm imaging using Cole as a hunting hound.
