Dragon Age: Rebellion? I like it.

 

Although with Solas, honestly... it'd be Dragon Age: Bad Decisions.

 

One of the companions he picks up on the way has to be Jowan. Maybe they'll cancel each other out a little.

Thinking of how to put it, what I mean by "too many powerful people roaming around" is "look at all these spare Player Characters that we're not letting you play again". At this rate, they're going to have to form a club. Maybe build a treehouse. I'm starting to find it a little ridiculous, especially since they all have titles (Hero of Ferelden, Champion of Kirkwall, Inquisitor) and are thus of some renown. They're gonna start tripping over each other at this rate.

 

I really want to keep playing the Inquisitor. They built up the Inquisition and Skyhold and etc etc so high and so hard, dropping that into the pile and starting over with yet another strangely-magnetic (look at all these followers!) character would... eh. I'd just rather not. The Inquisition could easily get tangled in the rumored Wardens vs Wardens war, depending on how you handled the Wardens. There's the Qunari and Tevinter, of course. And I can't believe I'm saying it, but there's politics to be handled. DAI made me interested in that, for once.

 

And that's not even touching on the Solas issue, which is a thing even if you didn't romance him. I mean, even an Inquisitor that didn't get along with him? Whatever he's off doing is going to be a thing.

 

Agreed.  And as Killabee said earlier, I'm also kind of tired of rehashing things over and over with a new protagonist.

 

Though, to be fair, the Warden could be dead.  So it's unlikely we'll really see much of the Warden again.  And Hawke could possibly also be dead if left in the Fade.  Although the devs did leave themselves open with the whole "Whoever is left behind is likely to die" - they didn't say definitely, just likely.  At this point they could go either way with Hawke being alive or dead.

 

But the Inquisition honestly just feels too important right now to completely dump and start over with something new in the next game.

I'm strongly considering it.. the awkwardness, the laughs... people in the theater will be so pissed XD XD A friend of mine's been asking if I wanted to see, mostly because she's very bored with herself, lol, and figures I must be too, I guess. And she likes bad movies.

Sorry to interrupt the discussion. Just caught up.

 

Why are there pigeons? I like pigeons, but I don't think I'd like to date pigeons. Are the pigeons date-able? Guys I'm so confused.

 

There is an explanation for why they are pigeons but I really suggest you play the game to get the whole story. And yes, they are dateable. The game allows you to see how each dateable pigeon/bird looks like as a human but only when you are first introduced to them. After the initial introduction, it's pigeon/bird portraits all the way! xD

Some of the stories are real tearjerkers while at least one of them is pretty disturbing. The game does have some very dark moments. I won't say which ones just in case you'd like to play it yourself. And if you do play it, I suggest you try to unlock the bonus storyline. You'll never look at the game the same way again.

As for the discussion on whether we want Lavellan to move on with Abelas, even though I personally am very attracted to Abelas (dem thighs, ooh!) I don't think my Tala would go for him. She's still in love with Solas and I see her more as the type to bury herself in her work to keep her mind off the pain rather than finding a rebound. I'd even see her staying single for quite a while. And I usually play characters who stay loyal to their LIs.

 

EDIT: That doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing Abelas/Lavellan fanarts or fanfics though. Far from it, I enjoy all of that very much! It's just that for my Lavellan's canon story, I personally don't see her hooking up with him.
