I know we talked about how Solas might interact with the other companions, but I can't remember what was said about Solas and Varric.  I wonder if they could have a friendly rivalry going on since Varric is a storyteller and Solas probably has some fantastic tales to tell from all his time in the Fade reliving the past.  Or maybe Solas just passes Varric the info and Varric adds some... flavor to it

Interesting ideas, Ispanius.  I could see Varric and Solas getting along very well as they are both tolerant and open minded about most things.  But, I could also see Varric being somewhat wary of Solas since Varric's life was set into disarray by the actions of the apostate Anders.  I could also see Solas getting impatient with some of Varric's more outrageous stories.  Overall, I suspect they will get along fairly well.

I wonder if that's a question we could ask that would be answered! There's been nothing said about Varric and Solas's relationship as far as I recall.

I think I may have a problem. Whenever I listen to music I subconsciously relate the lyrics to Dragon Age Inquisition. Usually to one of the characters, namely Solas and Cole. I can't help it, and I notice I've been doing it a lot lately. XD

Also I feel that Varric will probably get along with Solas as Solas doesn't seem to care much about biases (such as mages and templars, (from what I gather) if so they may actually get along I feel. I wonder if bioware is going to add any dialogue of varric being in the fade (at least if you take him in the second game)

If I recall correctly the last time Varric was in the Fade (in the book) he recalled the true Bianca and we saw that she had been a real person.   There is clearly not closure there so may be that is what Solas helps him with, given his strong connection with the Fade.     Varric can't normally get into the Fade because of being a dwarf, he has to have someone take him there and if anyone could guide him in the right direction it would be Solas.

I meant more in his conversations with Solas, and I know he was in the fade within the comic book but he was also in the fade in the second game (if you took him there) which could spur for a little bit of interesting dialogueXD

Well certainly, if he was thinking about DA2 the Varric could say something like "I was in the Fade with Hawke.   Went in to help this dreamer kid who was having nightmares about demons.   Weird place.   Full of scary demons trying to screw with your mind."   

 

To which Solas would reply something to the effect of "That's because your mind was screwy when you went in.  No offence meant."  (Gives an enigmatic smile)

I bet they have at least one uncomfortable conversation about Anders and Justice. Varric liked Anders well enough, before the Chantry bombing, and I think Solas' reaction to the entire situation would be interesting, given both his studies and his outsider's perspective on the Circle situation.

I'm trying to think of non-LI questions cuz someone already asked that, and I don't want to drown them in: "DOES SOLAS LIKE ME LIKE ME CHECK YES OR NO"

You can't back them into an answer, it'll just be met with a "You'll just have to wait, we aren't answering LI questions right now."
