You guys know, is it weird for me to actually like Solas as a character but *dislike* him as a personality?

 

How should I say this... I like how he is being depicted but I don't think if he's a real person I'd be able to be best friends with him or anything like that.

Hey, do you guys know if the devs have mentioned anything about implementing a camera/cinematic mode for Inquisition on any consoles, or if anyone has asked this at all? Some PS4 games seem to have it as a standard feature, which allows for some very nice screen captures. I would be SO into that, because yeah. Get all up in Solavellan's sexy face. And to prove I'm not just some elf-creeper: the extraordinary beauty of the game environments would be awesome to capture in all their glory, too. I'd happily pay for a camera mode add-on.

Solas related - one of my co-workers finally finished Inquisition over the weekend. He didn't see the Solas reveal coming and mentioned it was one of the first times he was interested in DLC for Dragon Age. So yay for more post-game Solas interest.

I'm like this with Sera too, it isn't weird at all. It's a credit to Bioware writers that most players end up having such complex and different reactions to the characters they created actually.

Crusader Kings II. I believe I've mentioned it a few times on this thread, as I've made several attempts at creating DA dynasties in it.

With the right DLC, you can customize characters and dynasties, and even kingdoms and empires. Currently I'm using the early French to create the Orlesian Empire, complete with Charlemagne himself standing in for the Drakon family rivalry.

That's how I feel about Sera, actually. I want to punch her, but I appreciate the fact that there's a character I dislike in the game, since... in real life, I'm never going to like everyone. Makes it more realistic. Especially since you can still disagree with your inner circle but still work together with them. You just don't get to know as much about them if you're not close.
