Lol this reminds me of this guy "Bubba the Love Sponge" I listen to in the morning on the radio for their hilarious censor noises. Couldn't find a good example but this is funny as hell.

Spoiler

I love this station, lol. These guys are so hilarious.

I decided the reason I got warned was because I'd been seen associating with you.

I wouldn't mind if they sailed towards wherever humans and kossith originally came from though. I'd be really interested actually.

Or maybe wherever humans and Kossith came from is flooded under water. Or it isn't and then elves and other races would just have traded continents. And it was Flemeth's plan all along, it's part of a cycle, each race must nurture a continent every 10 000 yrs and then you have to choose between blue, red and green path..... oh wait :P

See this is my thinking but I'm really not as tuned in to this stuff as some.

I mostly lean towards the "Forgotten Ones are the Old Gods" side of things myself, but there's good arguments for them being the Creators as well.  Especially when you look at the constellation codexes in DA:I.  But that could also be a case of the Forgotten Ones trying to supplant the Creators, as the attack on Arlathan suggested they're still holding a big grudge.  Still, I kinda bounce back and forth on the theories.  Most of my issues with the "Creators are the Old Gods" theories is that they tend to simply shunt the Forgotten Ones to the side, which is a bit appropriate lol, but bothers me in light of conflicting information.  I'm really hoping for DLC that goes into the Tirashan and hopefully sheds more light on the Forgotten Ones.

We have a support group here, "Team Optimism". You might be interested in their offerings. Would you care to look at the brochure?

Did someone say 'Team Optimism'?

The Blight could be the Creators, or they could be the Forgotten Ones, who are more closely linked to the Blight.  Either way, we appear to be dealing with elven gods.

Somebody here once said that the Tevinters referred to those gods who were locked away (by Fen'harel) as "the old gods". I think Fen'harel locked away both, Creators and Forgotten Ones, so the old gods should be both groups.

However, I also once heard that it is stated (somewhere) that there could only be 8 (or 9?) Blights in total. Would that work, Creators + Fogotten Ones = 8/9 (in case it's true at all)?

I'm on Team Wait and See.

Also trying to romance Blackwall is really hard, because he looks like my dad, how do people get past that.

He looks like one of my uncles . . . I just can't do it. I'll have to watch his romance on YouTube sometime instead.

I honestly don't think the truth coming out will matter much. [If the truth came out at all, beyond a chosen few.] When you're dealing with elements of faith, there are always going to be those who will refuse to accept whatever it is they are hearing. The common man probably isn't really going to care about the back history of Thedas, they just want the problems fixed.

I'd say the biggest risk to elves is if the elvhen or the forgotten one cultists start militarizing. Or if they claim a 'functional' piece of land that is not a forest, and begin building. That isn't some far off, magical threat that half of Thedas can't understand. That's a potential rival power growing, and nobles are not going to want that.

The only other option I have is Sera, and I just don't like her romance to much? I've already romanced Cullen and Josie in other playthroughs.. and I don't really want to romance The Bull.

And if that doesn't satisfy, we also have "Team Babelas" for those who have moved to greener pastures, firmer thighs, and tighter asses.

I personally recommend "Team Babelas". Best art, best talks, best drink, best headcanon. But, of course, I'm not judging.

yeah. it's the same thing with corypheus.  mother giselle going on about how corypheus was sad by the maker's scorn and you're like 'whatever lady, he just dislocated my shoulder by lifting me one-handed 6 feet in the air and burned down a town with his giant dragon.  that's more immediate and real  than his blasphemy or perceived crisis of faith'.

I feel sort of waffle-y about this, but I can definitely see the Inquisitor being set up as a type of Andrastian figure. After all, Joan of Arc did all these things trying to save France and she was still burned at the stake. We also have Hawke and the Grey Wardens as prior examples of how ungrateful people can be towards those who have saved them.

Do we really think Solas would initiate a kind of Chantry-blowing-up-scenario for the sake of uniting elves? We saw how well that worked with mages (not that well actually, since the CoE vote passed by a very negligible margin) and I don't know if I find that kind of extremism in character for Solas now (maybe before? mistakes of a younger elf and all that)

I don't actually think he would do that. If that was his goal, all he'd have to do is say: "oh, by the way I am an ancient elf and I am the one who caused the breach." He already has done a catastrophic event, albeit accidentally. I don't think he'll then go, "Hey, that was a pretty good idea. Lets do that again, except this time I'll make sure people know elves did it."

Personally, I think he's more likely to do something to save elvhen, and from there, they might go on to trying to unite the other elves. And because of suddenly powerful elves being around, 'normal' elves might get backlash.

I’d recommend maybe trying the Cullen romance out if you're playing as an elf or human, the general happy feelings from his romance were what I needed after my Solasmance playthrough.

No pressure. Babelas will be there when you're ready to jump off the ship of bitter tears and emotional hellspirals. He will catch you. With his thighs.

Aww <3

I forgot to mention, Team Babelas also has the best Lavellans. For the first time in my life I saw a Lavellan who looked pretty in the intro. (Blood magic!)

But you must start posting his pictures all over this thread. The more I see him... his face starts to do something to me... I even got a new colleague today who looks a bit like him. I'll never be able to work again.
