I was so mean to him at first, when he was nothing but concept art. Excepting the awesomely hawt War Room concept art, of course. But then we learned more about him, that he was an older guy (yum) and a scholar (Oooo, SOULMATE). Then his voice actor was revealed. Then we heard him in a trailer. Then I played the game and cried because he wouldn't love me But he called me Lethallin

If you only knew how often I go into the rotunda just to stare at him. Like... We ran out of stuff to say to each other forever ago, but there I am, continuing to initiate conversations with him just so I can swing my camera around and look at him from different angles. I'm pretty sure I'm the saddest person ever.

By the way, I've been chugging away at The Last Court since someone mentioned it way back when, and I find myself weirdly attached to the Wayward Bard? I dunno, at first he was just a convenient stat boost, but the one time I failed the stat check on sending him out for secrets I felt kinda bad.

 

Stupid game takes so loooong, though. But I really want those stained glass windows.

Mm! I finished The Last Court recently and I liked him too. The part where you commit to being lovers with him is oddly charming. Reminded me a bit of Zevran.

Yeah. He's a bit of a jerk, but he's my jerk, dammit. And I think the bit where it says that he keeps coming back to Serault is rather sweet as well, even though he whines about it a lot. Given the general disdain held for the place by players of The Game, he probably could've found a better situation elsewhere. I've got a soft spot for people who like Serault.

Yeah, male Lavellan is what I feel most comfortable playing, although I do have a female Cadash out there romancing Blackwall and eventually plan to play a female Adaar for Sera (oh and with the new romance mod, a female Trevalyan for Cass). 

 

My first Lavellan, who went for Bull (mostly because I had to chose between him and Dorian and didn't care for either but settled on Bull because, I don't know, kind of hot? lol not that I don't love and enjoy both characters), well, I was just shocked by the connection I felt with Solas. The character just took my breath away. I seriously fell a little bit in love with him. 

 

So I hope to recreate that experience, with a Dalish hunter again. He looks up to Solas, is a little intimidated by him, but makes him feel comfortable amongst all these humans.

Oh right? Serault is this terribly messed up place but because it's our terribly messed up place, it's hard not to love it. There's that very hometown feel about it, even when half of it is on fire and besieged by demons. c,:

He's my OTP.  I love Serault. I really really hope we get to visit in DLCs.  It seems like an amazing place to have an adventure!

So a question for this thread, I asked before a few weeks ago but I guess most people didn't notice it so I'll ask again:

 

Awhile back ago on my Lavellan that romanced Solas, after reconciling Celene/Briala at the ball in Halamshiral I didn't get the conversation with Solas afterward where you get to ask him about who "his people" are. The conversation will start as normal, where he talks about how much he enjoys the ball etc, but will end before you get to mention anything about helping or not helping the elves.

 

At first I thought it might be a bug that happens with the reconcile Celene/Briala route, except I just did the exact same thing on my human but was able to get the conversation about Solas and "his people".

 

I'm wondering if anyone else has had that conversation disappear on a romanced Lavellan after reconciling Celene and Briala?
